would love to know if the screen shot will at least work for getting into the fair.  my brother's flight doesn't get in until 8:00 tomorrow morning and he has the digital tickets (i have a screen shot of one of them).  i'd like to get to the fair around 8:00 and just meet up with him there.

Have him transfer your ticket to your apple wallet to be safe.  No way I’d be relying on a screen pic.

Yeah, this is wrong. “It didn’t rain on me, so it must not have rained over the other 9,300 square miles.”

Edit: 100% of North Texas picked up measurable rain. Areas west of Fort Worth received 4”+

West of Ft Worth is not DFW.  The DFW metroplex has received little to no rain, especially with the 3” predicted all week.  Not saying there may not be showers between now and game time, but not the all night soaker predicted earlier this week.  Wunderground FTW forecast seems to agree.

Be sure to get extra beer/liquor/food for tomorrow's game -- hope forecasts are wrong, but there might be weather delays due to lightning...  😡

Little to no rain in DFW this week - forecast has been way off every day.  Suns out now and updated forecast pretty much shows nothing - not even the overnight rains that have been expected all week.  Not trying to take PhD’s job, but don’t expect weather or field conditions to be an issue.

Not sure if already posted in another thread, but OU ticket locations just got posted in the app. If you don’t fuck with the app you can see it in your order history on the website.

Also just got the email from the ticket office saying ticket locations have been loaded and that the mobile tickets will be loaded in a few weeks.  The State Fair is going mobile too?  That should make Saturday’s cluster look like a well oiled German engine in comparison…..

I've finally realized why I don't like him and why he didn't work on MNF.  The dude acts like he's a play by play, color analyst, and talking pundit all in one.  He never shuts up and dominates whoever he's working with.  And he offers opinions more than any color guy in the business.

Throw in his Tom Rinaldi’ish feel good stories too

    It’s Tessitore and Greg McElroy

🤮if true.  Can’t stand either of them.  I too felt like Brando had been told to tone it down, at least in the first half.  First 2-3 plays were glorious as they had audio issues and no commentary.

Dumb question: we got a couple of those Texas Yeti tumblers @ the game yesterday.  Are we able to bring those back in for future games (empty)?

No.  Heavy projectile thing and all…..

Sorry if already posted elsewhere, but are they shutting down the Champions Club this season?  My old man and I would hang out there pre-game for the past several years, but he said Champions Club passes didn't come with his season ticket delivery.  I haven't seen anything about it on the UT site, and assume that because of COVID they don't want a bunch of folks in Bass Concert Hall.

And since we don't have a tailgate to attend, any ideas on where to enjoy a few beers before the game, preferably in the shade?

Just received an email (as did your dad probably) that the PAC is no longer a space they can use, so it will now be held in the Thompson Conference Center north of the LBJ Library.  Passes will be sent out (assuming electronically) later this week.  Not exactly as convenient as the PAC was.

When UT came out and said to "lock in your donations", I have to believe that was a subliminal message to season ticket holders that changes were coming. I've been a season ticket holder since 1996, so there wasn't a chance we were giving them up.  But, now that we're moving to the SEC, the value of my two blocks have gone way up.  If Sark can get this thing going again, we're gonna need a bigger stadium.

Thinking back this weekend on the number of times that lock in your donation note was received this year, my conclusion was exactly the same as yours.  They knew what was coming.
