  1. Lift Tickets and lessons purchased for Spring Break for 3 days at Copper Mountain. Gonna do my first daddy/daughters (6&8) full ski day together on Day 3. I'm so hopeful they have as much fun as I do.

  2. We stayed at Grand Summit in Canyons Village. It really has everything you need, but I haven't stayed anywhere else. The ski school is right there as well if your kids are taking lessons, I think.

FYI Target has a great selection of Grillo’s products if you don’t see them at Costco.

The last batch of hot spears I bought at Target had already turned well before the expiration date. So much excitement driving home met with IMMEDIATE disappointment upon tasting.

  4. Thinking about taking the family to Belize in May (6 and 7 yo girls). We want to fly in to Belize City, puddle jump to Placencia, and then ride to Sirenian Bay resort.

Has anyone stayed at Sirenian Bay (other than Norm) or heard of anyone staying there?

Is taking my 2 little girls to this country with the above itinerary a safe idea?

This thread has me pretty excited about trip.

  5. Got back from Red River on Sunday. As a single, I waited in a lift line for maybe 40 seconds tops as my longest wait. Conditions were MUCH better than I anticipated. The temp swings from low to high were wild, but I had no issues with gear.

I do not think the wife will ever want go back to Red River. She had planned to work from the restaurant at the Chalet base, but due to only one power outlet and no alcohol, she bailed. I thought the town had a really cool German vibe, but I really like small towns.

  6. Red River one week from today: 12/27-12/31. Maybe a few inches to soften it up/hide the rocks on 12/23-24, but pickens are slim.

17/64 trails open and 5 of 7 lifts open, so it could be worse. I am so thankful for the 12" last week (twss).
