  1. I watch cheerleading when it comes on ESPN, but I have to make sure the blinds facing the street are closed.

I tweeze the stragglers around my eyebrows.

I have to trim my ear hair twice a week. Not the inside of my ears, the exterior.

    I have an outty.

I will belt out some Lisa Loeb, I Do, when i'm driving solo.

Top 40 is my preferred music at this stage of my life. I'm almost 40.

It gets dusty when the Star Spangled Banner is played at live events.

So, Surly Dads of youngin's, what's the best baby monitor?  Trying to register for one, but there's just too many damn options.  Under the mattress motion sensor, handheld monitor, wifi with phone app (which seem to charge for cloud connectivity / storage), IR, PTZ, temp / humidity sensors, 2-way comm, etc.

We have this one and love it:

I would recommend staying away from 2-way audio.

There are certain people that are put on this earth to do one thing and one thing only and Dave's purpose is to be a motherfucking rock star.

THIS is what separates Foo Fighters from all other bands, imo. Add the power-vibe that he and Taylor exude and you've got a winner.

Freaking. Hate. Pregnancies. Baby had irregular heartbeat today at 31 weeks,..... Any of you guys ever have to deal with this??

Our daughter was born with SVT (super ventricular tachycardia). Dr's didnt notice anything during any of the sonograms (she must not have been having an episode at those exact times). However when she was born, we couldn't get her heart rate under 250. It was a scary hour, but after being rushed to NICU (mom's still recovering in the delivery room freaking out if her new baby is going to live), everything seemed to calm down. I lost my shit on a couple of people for arguing with each other instead of focusing on my daughters incredibly high heart rate. Probably my only regret. I was lucky they didn't just kick me out, but shit gets real, real quick.

We had to give her Dijoxin twice a day for 9 months and regularly check her heart to make sure everything sounded ok. She's 2 now. Never had any episodes other than the one at delivery.

  5. Has anyone been here before and have any recommendations on any must-do's/don'ts? We have about 10 adults plus 5 kids (7 mos - 3 years old) going in May and all staying in the same house. We were going to rent a boat but decided not to due to the age of the kids. Hopefully we can visit the casino if time allows. More than anything we want to do relaxing activities, but I can's sit still for too long and would like options. We are there Friday - Sunday.

Is there a safe swimming hole?

Amazing hiking trails that are kid friendly?

Other things I haven't thought of?
