    Yes

Yeah, I was going to go Anti- Superhero on this until I realized its also PSI guy. Welp. Nevermind. I'm now pro Superhero.

I'll confess, my first read through of the screen shot reminded me of the probably thousands of times I've used my wife or kids being "sick" to get out of shit I agreed to go to when I was drunk.

Mexicans will generally have a reflexive attitude of liking anyone the United States doesn’t.

In all honesty, between the legitimate harms we’ve done them and the ongoing self-owns they inflict on themselves just to spite us, it is true that one way or another we are the source of nearly all their problems.

we also have congressmen submitting bills to actually bomb Mexico...

Not if the relish is sweet.

You mean, now you can actually taste?

That's a good question. I know I have sweet relish at home, but I'm not sure if that's what I used or not.

As far as taste after quiting smoking. Let's just say it turns out he beer and whiskey I used to drink weren't the greatest in quality and I didn't know that

You should have celery salt on hand for bloody marys

    Valid point.

Though, I almost never keep hard alcohol at home. I just don't drink it as often as I used to. I used to keep a pretty nice selection of vodka, whiskey, and rum. But I pretty much just drink those when we go to a restaurant now. I quit smoking about 5 years ago, and I think my taste just changed a bit. Still keep plenty of wine and some beer though

You can buy Vienna brand sport peppers and neon green relish on Amazon. You can also get cherry pepper relish for hoagies.

Yeah, I already ordered them for next time.

Just sub Trappeys Tabasco peppers in vinegar (the ones you put on collard greens). It's basically the same thing.

I fucking love those things. have a bottle at home and at work

Those are the only kind I'll buy at the store. I usually make my own pickles, but haven't in awhile. i will definitely pick some up when I'm at various farmers markets too

Not a bad take on the Chicago dog.  Did you not have celery salt on hand, though?

Also, I'm not sure if folks from Chicago are territorial of their hot dogs and we are about chili.  I get the sense they are, i.e., if you omit an ingredient or add something extra, you can't call it a Chicago dog.  But, I would not be opposed to putting some sauerkraut on a Chicago dog.

I didn't have celery salt or sport peppers. I went to two stores looking for sport peppers, but couldn't find them. Thought I had celery salt at home, but didn't. Wasn't going to the store just for that.

It was pretty good, but I think the relish and pickle combo is a bit much for me.

    Coach pitch parents.

Cliff notes. I’m 6’3” trying to pitch to 7 year olds. We lost a game today 4-1. My first inning was brutal, but settled in and tossed plenty of cookies. After first inning heard a parent say something about the pitching. No big deal. I sucked and kids didn’t hear it. After the game we’re lining up at first and I’m surrounded by the kids and the same dad slams stuff in the wagon and says “we lost because of pitching again”. I invited him for a chat away from everyone and let him know that’s unacceptable. Say what you feel, but speaking down too or about a coach around kids is not ok. Also invited him to volunteer his time and become a coach as well.

God damn this. I had to explain to one parent that the kids were 3 and 4

The worst part of coaching though - One kid was up to bat (on a Tee), another kid not paying attention (without a helmet) was about to walk into the path of his swing. The only thing I could do was jump in between. And I took the full force of an aluminum bat to the nads.

So, if anyone is wondering what it's like for a grown man to cry in front of about 20 pre-K kids while their parents either laugh or cringe, I can tell you.

Parents that don't control their kids in a restaurant.

I watched a 2 YO making an absolute mess of the table, standing on the chair, hiding behind other people's chairs while the mom looked... at her phone. The last straw for the server was when the kid was doing yoga in the middle of an aisle, surrounded a pile of rice, watching a phone (apparently just for him, because mom has her own).

I think it's normal for little kids to make a mess, but the parents should be responsible for cleaning up their mess. My wife and I would always go under the table to pick up anything that may have dropped. Most parents would as well, but there have been plenty of times when the parents just pick up and leave with shit all over the tables and floors.

We do this as well with napkins and forks and stuff. It's not as big a deal now that they're older, but when they used to drop/spill food on the floor, I would always apologize to the server and tip alot more
