Good call. I’m going to give a closer look to the Costco bag tomorrow

The Team Edge walking bags are absolute trash. Are you guys seeing any other Longhorns walking bags locally? Online it’s pretty much only this TE garbage and jacked up Nike bags on eBay.

I run a game every weekend. 20 players last Sunday. However, we use GHIN handicaps so any team combo is balanced by strokes given to each player.

Cantlays new putting coach is named Phil Canyon, which is a great putting coach name … but an even better porn star name

82 in tourney at Mo Willy today; broken 85 twelve times in my life and six of them now this year. LGLG
Handi is looking good! You’re about to lose a low score, though, so need to shoot a good round next time out to keep lowering it-

Odds are pretty good the card reader was wrong
-
Has anyone seen a good explanation of who introduced that in the first place and why?

I, too, shot a 39 on the front this morning. Paired nicely with a 50 on the back

They’ve got the course redesign architect on Live From and he’s doing a hole by hole review of his design decisions. REALLY cool discussion if you’re into that stuff. He just finished the front 9 so you can still catch the back live but I’m sure they’ll replay this. Gil Hanse is his name

Also didn't realize till today that TCH is $13/hr in Austin. Price of poker is going up it seems.
The inelasticity of BBs relative to inflation and rake has always been interesting to me. Players want to play $2, $5 and $10 BBs but those games are now effectively worth much less to players than they were 10 years ago -
3. Fix your goddamn soft serve/shake machines already.
They finally escaped the contract that only allowed one company to service the machine-

Hard to say I guess? Can't imagine they are struggling too badly.
They did, hilariously and predictably, walk the $5 checkin back already. Told my wife the second I read it that there would be a meltdown and they would walk it back. So they just negatively impacted their perception and goodwill for no gain. What did they think was going to happen, people were going to say "oh cool, I get to stand in a different line and pay $5 every time I come in, sounds good"? How does that either not get filtered out by someone with a brain, or if they actually have to charge it to be viable, they just plow through the backlash.
Good lord, that just screams incompetence-

Their app exclusive deals have turned to shit, but if you go into the McValue Menu section and scroll down to meals, there’s a $5 McDouble Meal Deal that’s a steal.

Think they’re losing money? I assumed they were banking

The old Wynn room was perfect in that regard, imo. Comfortably away from the casino floor, but obvious to passers-by and in between the clubs and the parking garage for funneling in fish
-
I’d guess many of us far prefer an isolated room rather than being out in the open casino. Smokers and slot machines are annoying as fuck

That's a dogshit 69 from Rory.
He should have got to 2 or 3 under today.
His gamer driver was ruled non-conforming on Tuesday. Perhaps he’s struggling with the feel of the replacement -

One of the guys I play with uses this and is nails with it. From 1971, hockey stick tape for grip and the head must be pure lead it’s so heavy-

Herb is available…

It's time for the guy from Styx?
Sucherman is a great follow if you enjoy drum cams like I do. His flow around the kit is always cool to see -
Even the announcer referenced that Rory was wearing Longhorn colors. The Texas brand is a monster. Now a particular color implies Texas. Love it.
It is trademarked of course

Played in a pair of wide cleats today, though I’ve never felt I needed wide shoes in general, and found them to be excellent for comfort (I walk) and also stability. Curious if anyone else has tried this that doesn’t normally wear wide shoes
