I was at the baseball game last Sunday. My wife and kid were playing in the bounce house on the third base side, so I was sitting at one of the picnic tables trying to watch the game. CDC happened to walk right by me, and I was about to introduce myself when he pivoted, reached down, and picked up a discarded napkin off of the ground. He then casually walked to the nearest trash can and deposited the waste, at which point he continued walking. I just sat there staring and thinking to myself that we have the best fucking athletic director in all of college sports. Every little detail matters to this guy. We are so lucky to have him.

The Aggies would go from being 8-4 every year to being 7-5, which will hurt their feelings. Presumably @Hagbard Celine would extend that same reasoning to many of the other conference bottom feeders - Arkansas, Kentucky, MSU, Vandy - will all end up with worse records and fewer bowl games if we switch to 9 games. To these teams, the extra money is not worth the loss in status and bowl game appearances.
Anyway, that's what I think he's saying.
I've known Hagbard for almost forty years and I still don't know what the fuck he's taking about at least half of the time.

I’m hoping Ewers goes to the Rams. The offense suits his game (short passes, QB rarely runs) and the current backups are Jimmy Garoppolo and Stetson Bennett.

Just bought tickets to see Pulp at Red Rocks in September. Never been to a show there, and I’ve never seen Pulp. I might not even be able to get up there for it (I have a six year old) but worth the risk to get the seats.

Went out of my way to try these a few years. They were disgusting. Even the chili was beyond terrible. I was genuinely angry.

And yes, that's Jon Rahm still on 15 at the top of the Freddie photo...

Will it auto-renew your existing seats if you do nothing? I will be on a flight during my window.
You only need to do something if you want to add/reduce/move seats (assuming you renewed before the deadline last month). If you want your seats the way they are, you don't have to do a thing.

Just a beast behind the kit. I remember an interview in which he apologized for playing “too hard” on “Dreaming” and that it would have been a bigger hit if he had toned it down a bit.
Fuck that, Clem. Your performance on “Dreaming” is pure perfection.

Had an incredible time out there today with my Dad (first time for both of us). Walked the whole back nine and spent the biggest chunk at the grandstand for the 16th tee. Everyone was skipping shots in addition to the regular tee shot. I think I got some decent photos with my ancient digital camera. If so, I’ll post some when I get back to Dallas.

He opened at the Texas One Fund event held in DKR in May. There were around 1,000 people there across a spread of tables on the floor of the stadium. It was a really awkward set-up for a comedian, with a ton on unfamiliar blue hairs not taking much interest in a bunch of his jokes.
He literally says “fuck it” into the microphone and just starts hatefucking the crowd with comedy, including a bunch of political jokes and shit talk about Texas. Towards the end, he mentioned he’s not sure why he was asked to do this gig. He and the crowd were bewildered with one another.
I was fucking howling. Making a fool of myself at a table because it was the funniest, most uncomfortable shit I had seen in years.
This pretty much describes his opening monologue when he hosted SNL a few weeks ago. I guess hosting SNL is just an awkward situation for a stand-up comedian, right? He was pretty good on the skits but damn the monologue was brutal.

My wife is a Xavier grad and a huge hoops fan. She’s at the park with our kid and I have to tell her when they get home. Nice knowing you guys.

Joe just bumped us after Boise’s win and he still has UNC as last team in.

We all know stormtroopers can't shoot for shit, right? So when they capture Leia at the beginning of the VERY FIRST movie, the troop leader orders a wide stun field so that they can just knock her out and capture her. Why do they NEVER use this wide-field stun again? Seems like it might have been helpful on many occasions...

I’m 2 episodes in and I just don’t know. The performances are good and there are some genuinely good moments, but the fact that we’ve already been subjected to two down-tempo covers of “Another Day in Paradise” and “We Built This City” is just lazy and manipulative. If episode 3 contains a slow piano version of The Jam’s “Going Underground,” I’m going to throw shit at my TV.

Ridiculous. I want to like and support this sport but this is comical bullshit.
