Not sure if weird is the right word, but it felt like Jordan had a weird career path here.

I remember him playing corner against Bama in game 2 as a freshman in 2022 once Jamison went down and he seemed like someone the coaches trusted early. Then he was moved to nickel and rarely heard from again outside of special teams. I thnk it's been mentioned before that Gary Patterson kept telling the staff to move him to safety.

Gary must have had some influence on that ‘22 DB room. He loved Jordan, Brooks, and Guilbeau.

So are we trying to move Colbron to second string behind Norton and whoever else they get? Is Colburn most likely one of the starters and we are looking to rotate 4 a ton?

If Norton is our starting NT we’re in trouble. He’s a low motor, big body, two down player. OU abused his big back wide body Cadillac built ass. Although I think he’s a quality depth piece that can give you some good snaps this season.

He's baaaack!  Actually the Dude of WV never left, after all, he's immortal, but just changed to his real name, Christopher Lambert.  And his FSU and Clemson talk just won't go away.

I have this vague memory of coming home from baseball practice my freshman year of high school and tuning into a FSU/Clemson to Big12 segment on College Football Live. Dude of WV had drum up so much Twitter discourse it went mainstream for an afternoon. That was my first instance of monitoring misinformation infiltrating national media in real time. There was no way this guy that the olds on the Shag clown daily has an ESPN segment, his tweets were even cited if I’m not mistaken.

  4. Honestly, if it wasn’t for the peculiar timing of vacancy at UCLA, I might have thrown my hat in the ring for the job. I have many connections in Southern California. I can touch down in LAX this evening and link up with at least three bitches by Tuesday morning.

UCLA and North Carolina have little fan interest in football so they are mediocre with the occasional good season.

Thats offensive to me for some reason. Maybe I'm projecting my Texan perspective of prioritizing quality football on these coastal programs. Maybe it’s the 38 time NCAA 14 Dynasty Championship Head Coach in me. I just see so much potential in those two programs. They both have so much going for them. Especially North Carolina, disruptive defensive linemen grow on trees in that state.

  6. It still doesn’t really add up. The ‘22 QB draft class was one of the weaker in recent memory. Purdy was Big12 freshman of the year. Two-Time All Big12, first team his Jr year. Two time Davey O’Brien finalist. He had three years of really great tape. Pickett & Howell went 1st and 3rd round, guys with no real elite traits.
