UCLA and North Carolina have little fan interest in football so they are mediocre with the occasional good season.

Thats offensive to me for some reason. Maybe I'm projecting my Texan perspective of prioritizing quality football on these coastal programs. Maybe it’s the 38 time NCAA 14 Dynasty Championship Head Coach in me. I just see so much potential in those two programs. They both have so much going for them. Especially North Carolina, disruptive defensive linemen grow on trees in that state.

  2. It still doesn’t really add up. The ‘22 QB draft class was one of the weaker in recent memory. Purdy was Big12 freshman of the year. Two-Time All Big12, first team his Jr year. Two time Davey O’Brien finalist. He had three years of really great tape. Pickett & Howell went 1st and 3rd round, guys with no real elite traits.

Purdy and ISU had some offensive skill talent. Breece Hall. Charlie Kolar has an ok NFL career thus far. Xavier Hutchinson is NFL worthy.

Based on mock drafts, the UM talent is not overwhelming. I’m sure their Oline guys are better than ISUs but Breece may be the most talented teammate of Purdy or JJ.

I remember Purdy being a late first round QB take in everyone’s mocks draft the Spring after his sophomore campaign at ISU. If i remember correctly he lost a bunch of his weapons to the draft and forced a bunch of throws his Sr year leading to picks. If you watched him play you could still see he was a quality QB though, with a nasty pump fake. How did he become Mr.Irrelevant though? What happened? I remember when he came in mid season and managed a loaded 49ers offense the media lost their minds, it just didn’t shock me much. He was always pretty savvy and talented enough with pieces around him.

  4. Those draft projections are bitter sweet. We’ve come a long way in the developmental aspect of our program. We had the horses to be champions. We were just missing elite players at premier positions like Edge, CB, Tackle(RT), and WR. Worthy didn’t look 100% that night in New Orleans. Maybe if we had drew a better matchup things shakeup differently. I think the most complete team end up winning it all at the end of the day. Michigans defensive line would have manhandled the right side of our offensive line.

scared of DeBoer????..all he needed was two lost fumbles, a dropped TD pass strange calls from the refs and he STILL was one pass from the 12 yd line away from losing that game anyway.....notice I didnt mention the 24 yr old QB....is that the guy you are terrified of?......say it aint so!

Roster full of NFL guys and almost double digit 6 year players. Also their first half game plan was flawless, it’s as if they had a mole in our run throughs.

Harbaugh watched the film from our game and has been stroking his tiny penis to the thought of running the ball down UW’s throats. UM probably pulls away late in the game. Penix will be under the pressure having to keep up in the limited possession they have left in the game, while a well rested pass rush keeps him running.

I don’t know if the Sugar Bowl is an accurate representation of Washington’s run defense. They were baiting the RPO all game.

Guys I’m not sure our developmental last minute LB add can gain 20lbs in 2-3 years. I’m concerned.

He either can be Trevell Johnson or Nick Martin. Trevell couldn’t get on the field for Louisiana Monroe in 2023, in the portal again. Nick Martin is now one of the most explosive linebackers in the country for Oklahoma State after one season of development.

Are you guys talking about letting Dallas Turner just illegally cheap shot a QB and knock him out of the game? I’d like to see one of his opponents square up on his knee and bend it in backwards, thus ending his football career. If it happened on TV, I’d be howling. If I’m in person in Houston, I will be hooting and clapping as loud as I can. I’d hope he could hear my shrill cackling in the quiet of the stadium as they fit his deformed mess of a leg inside an air cast and loaded him onto a cart.

What a freak. I’d like to see Dallas pile drive you on somebody’s luxury SUV windshield in the parking lot. After a Texas win of course.
