Iowa St was at home and we all know weird shit happen in Iowa St. WVU looks like a completely different team since that game. And TCU has tanked since the Ohio St loss. WVU is at home and should take care of business.

Iowa State executes our defensive style much more effectively than us. They also got some legit playmakers at QB, WR, and HB. I don’t know how TCU beat them.

  2. Might be a broken record with this question but who are some defensive “front 7” guys we have a shot with down the stretch? Last class had some foundation type players at DT, DE, and OLB. If we are going to have any shot at being elite defensively against these Big12 offenses we got to be superior up front. No disrespect to guys like Nelson and Hager, but those guys would be at Baylor and USF if it wasn’t for Charlie. They will forever have my respect for what they have given this team but we look pedestrian against teams with average O Lines, especially when their Tackles can stretch wide runs. We have to capitalize on the 2018 class up front.

  3. I think our defensive front will look a lot more like a Texas front next season. No disrespect to Hager, Nelson, & Omenhiu, but those guys were some late developmental pick ups by Charlie. Charles is the only one who turned himself into a draftable player imo. Someone might take a flyer on Hager as a 3-4 OLB.

  4. KSU needs someone who can recruit D1 players while also taking advantage of the Kansas Farm System. Oklahoma State puts together salty front sevens with 3star Dallas kids every class. KSU can do something similar with Seth or Venables.

  5. I was surprised that a defense that’s designed to flush runs to the outside were getting gashed by outside runs all night. They took a page out of Maryland’s book by pulling guards on the outside zone. Orlando needs to apologize to the team for such a shitty game plan.

  6. While Oklahoma State isn’t a great team over all, they present some unique challenges that I think will make this game interesting early. Their Defensive Line and Front 7 are on par with Texas and OU, probably more disruptive. Their run game has struggled but they can still hurt you with the deep ball. With a potential banged up QB or a back up QB who isn’t great against pressure, it’s going to be a tough moving the ball consistently. Also inexperienced corners early are going to have to defend double moves and deep routes.
