Just noticed your screen name.  When I was born in 1950, North Loop was the north city limits.  Oltorf was the south.  Guess Austin has grown a bit since then.

Was just trying to knock Porter down as far as possible until he figures it out. I’d like to see Pierce give Casey a full game either Saturday or Sunday. If Porter figures it out at the plate again I’d slot him at 5 regardless of matchup but right now we are getting the guy TCU was comfortable letting transfer.

Porter Brown was a riddle for the Frogs as well.  Story was that he was a Premed major and studied his ass off while classes were in session, to the detriment of his onfield performance.  Once the semester was over and he could focus on baseball, he was an allstar.  Tale of two Players for sure.  I think I saw that he has changed majors now...

ECU-UNC in a split series, UCLA @ TCU, and Indiana @ Baylor this weekend look interesting.  Arkansas vs Oregon St in Arlington tonight should be good

TCU swept the series against UCLA, including run ruling them in the final game.  Went on to beat Washington State in 12 innings, then came back the next day to beat Arizona.  TCU pitchers struck out 19.  Good start for the year.

You may not have noticed <cough, cough> but banging that strong conference gong gets SEC SEC SEC underserved rankings and respect.  Which translates to better bowls and playoff and seeding rankings.   Not Fair?   Bwahaha.  I care why?  You are about to reap the benefit of that as well - now that the Big-12 Big Boys joined the aforesaid overrated conference.  (granted, our overall conference baseball strength is likely the best conference no matter the ESPN blowjobs.  You joining is chef’s kiss awesome to anyone who likes baseball)

    Underserved, or undeserved?

Aggy with the hotel luggage cart HR celebration just seems to fit.

I heard the Walmart greeter wouldn't let them take one of the grocery carts, so they stole the luggage cart from the Days Inn.

Indiana St gets to host a Super now.  Too bad TCU is going to steamroll them.

    Good start for the Hoosiers.

Looks like TCU will be doing the hosting of the Super.  Special Olympics has Terre Haut all booked up next weekend.

Wow:  "The loss extended Michigan's woes in the postseason. The Wolverines have now lost six straight bowl games."

That post season record is terrible for Harbaugh -- Michigan fans just devastated.

And Harbaugh is now 0-3 against TCU.

Isn't this considered high standards at LSU? Throw in some rice and hot sauce and you got quality family time in Louisiana.

You gotta take off your shoes and throw 'em on the floor.
