Attendance for TCU/Iowa St yesterday was 44,846. Capacity at Amon Carter Stadium is listed at 50,000.
You know, for context.

Has Sark brought a caged Alaskan Malamute to practice yet to get the guys pumped up?
The malamute got ass raped by this crazy monkey. Who would have guessed that would happen?

Only way TCU gets into the CFP is by going undefeated. If not, TV and CFB committee will find a way to fuck 'em just like 2014 in favor of a one-loss, big state U. Is what it is.
Uh, yeah, well, no.

Did they even manage to sell out Amon Carter Stadium yesterday?
Seems like the highest attendance at DKR this year was TCU v UT. Over 100,000?

They are a one dimensional team that we exposed.
TCU will also be exposed by a team with a pulse. Literally any team in the top 10 can beat them. That includes the LSU team that just lost to A&MAgreed. They are pretty much Cincinnati last year. Nothing special at all.
This "nothing special" team is the first Big 12 team to go 12-0 since the Longhorns did it in 2009. Someone was saying that no one will watch the Big 12 CCG but yet ESPN is going to bring College Gameday to Arlington this year rather than the other P5 CCGs. And as far as other stats which support national interest:
- Featured on ESPN College Gameday 3x (Kansas, Texas, Big 12 Championship)
- Featured on FOX Big Noon Saturday 2x (Tech, Baylor)
- Broadcast nationally on ABC or FOX 7x (OU, Oklahoma State, Tech, Texas, Baylor, Iowa State, Big 12 Championship)
- Faced 6 then-ranked Top 25 teams (OU, Kansas, Oklahoma State, K-State, Texas, and K-State)
- Played as a ranked team 9x (since KU) and played in games where both teams were ranked 5x (Kansas, Oklahoma State, K-State, Texas, and K-State/Texas)
- Been ranked in the CFP top 7 and discussed as a potential playoff team every week rankings were released.
Getting rid of the stagnating coaching staff from the past 4-5 years and bringing in fresh blood and ideas has made a huge difference, and I really don't see that changing in the next few years to come.

Was really hoping K State would have a few d-backs tossed for targeting this half.

Is that where Booger got his start? Figures they'd find a way to elevate a person named Booger. Find something else to call a guy for goodness' sake.
No kidding. But there is only one way I can think of for a guy to get the nickname "Booger."

Maybe he'll take the K-State job when Klieman goes to Nebraska.

Doesn't Patterson hate baylor too. Factor that in and I expect the defense to dominate those fuckheads.
Patterson hated Briles. Not sure he saw Baylor as anything more than another conference opponent.

Why were we constantly trying to block the punts? It's such a high risk, low reward play that I just don't get it why they kept doing it, especially after the first running into the kicker penalty where they got bailed out by another penalty.
One possibility is that Patterson's defenses have always been vulnerable to the fake punt. Perhaps he felt that TCU knew that and was wanting to stuff the punter before he either took off on a run or threw a pass.

We should honestly just fire Sark tonight and give the job to Fatterson and see if we want to make him the HC at the end of the year. Sark aint it guys.
I am not here to troll, but I can't let this one pass. Hiring Patterson would just be compounding your problems. Look at his record as a coach the past three years. The program was in a severe decline because he refused to bring in new coaches with fresh ideas and who could actually coach. Both of the last 2 ADs encouraged him to get rid of coaches who were underperforming. He refused and insisted on keeping his yes-men rather than firing them. Last year, the AD told him that his contract would not be renewed but asked him to finish out the season so as to not make him look bad, getting fired during the season. He threw a tantrum and quit on the spot. The college game has passed him by...Texas would be getting more of the same if he were your head coach. We are glad that he was here, but now we are glad that he is gone.

Serious question here: Where do you see Gary Patterson winding up next year? His name has started appearing on some of these tweets. Does he hang around a little longer as a defensive analyst or special assistant? I think his career path includes another HC gig at some point. What do you all think?

I didn't realize that Cornelio moved back to the 3rd spot in the TCU rotation. He looked pretty good against us on Friday night in Austin. Assuming we will see Marcelo Perez tomorrow.
Yes, Perez will be starting tomorrow.
