  1. Just finished the Dissect season on Radiohead's In Rainbows. I am a huge Radiohead fan with some familiarity with music theory and thought it was excellent. It may be a bit too much for more casual fans or those who are unfamiliar with the band. There is an episode dedicated to each song on the album, and the host takes a deep dive into each musical section of the song and the lyrics.

Heard one talking heads discussion that Texans need a real number 1 WR

People are sleeping on Nico. He's not Justin Jefferson or DeeDee Lamb, but he's a fine WR1. There are far more important areas to upgrade.

I don't know much about the Titans run scheme. Henry has always struck me as a power runner. Would he be a good fit for our zone scheme?

I would like them to get Mike Evans if he's not too expensive. He's a Houston guy, up for his last big deal, might be willing to make a friendly deal to come play at home. He's made QBs like Mayfield and Manziel look great, and won a Super Bowl with Brady. The guy just beats DBs a ton and makes it easy on a QB. Pairing him with Stroud would be insane, and would take some heat off Nico and Tank, which will help them stay healthy.

I don't think they need to spend a lot on a RB. Singletary is great if he's willing to return for a reasonable amount, but I don't think he was "special". I think they could get another RB in the draft like 3rd-5th round and a cheap 1-2 in free agency.

Evans would be a great addition, but I think he's a guy you go after once you have the rest of the holes filled. Nico and Tank are a solid WR1&2. We have bigger needs than WR.

Singletary is JAG. I'd bring him back on a team-friendly deal to be a backup, but I'd like to see us address the RB1 position via FA or the draft.

  4. Texans have a ton of cap space and flexibility. coming up. I would hope that hannah already has a team of analysts evaluating players and their ‘money ball’ numbers. Houston will be a destination spot. We shouldn’t over pay for old players
zeke elliott is coming off a one year / $3 mil contract, I’d kick the tires at those numbers
we’ll have two 1st round picks too

I’d kick the tires on Barkley too. He’s probably on the backside of his career, but he could be useful for a season or two if the price is right.

Obviously Johnathan Brooks would be great if he were to fall to us.

It would be nice for the Titans to do us a favor so we can host that playoff game.

Tannehill announced as the starter for the Titians this week. Not sure if that helps or hurts their chances as I don't think Levis is anything special.

    Honest opinion.

Thoughts on the game Saturday?  I’m not as optimistic as ESPN.  I don’t know, maybe if it was a home game.

Same here. So far, the 2023 Texans have exceeded expectations overall, but they have not looked great in a couple of games they were supposed to win, e.g. NYJ and Car. I'm concerned they may not quite have the mentality to go on the road and win a must-win game that they are slightly favored in.
