I don’t have actual numbers but these heat map is interesting. The southern part of round rock that’s connected to Austin is blue. It fades from purple to pink as you go north. Georgetown is pretty pink once you get that far. Hays county is basically 50/50 at this point.

There won't be any distraction.
This November is a referendum on Donald Trump. Full stop.
Unless the Dem leadership fucks it up, which they have been known to do.

While the second half of this quote is garbage, I'm now convinced that this is the correct strategy. Making this a campaign issue is NOT what the Democrats want. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see Trump/McConnell start to drag their feet on this nomination.
Republicans would love to turn this into a Supreme Court/abortion battle as a distraction from trump and his failings.

I think liberals are fucking nuts. Well classical liberals aren’t. I’m basically one. But the modern left of victimhood, freebies and identity politics, yeah. You all suck.
Oh the irony

ACR is probably the hottest, but there are concerns about god mode again
Thanks. Looks like the only ways to get money on there are bitcoin, a visa registered outside of the US, or cash through western union or the like. A pre-paid Visa card might be the best bet.

How is the online scene these days? I played a lot in the poker craze in the early 2000’s and did pretty well. Got my money out when the feds started messing with site owners. My impression is that all the easy money dried up and only the better players are left. Not sure if that’s actually true. Is there a site that anybody can recommend? I tend to do best in tournaments and single table tournaments.

I’m seeing nothing but sun and upper 90s in the 10 day forecast. How are the lakes doing.

Can you imagine this under Reagan or either Bush? I sure as hell cant. Trump brings out the absolute worst in republicans. Let’s hope he doesn’t do the same for Democrats.

When this group of olds that are addicted to Fox News is all but gone in 15 years, are they replaced by current 50 year olds? I’m 35 - does my generation ever become the olds addicted to a right wing news channel? Is there something about this group in particular that makes them susceptible to this type of propaganda or are olds always that way?

I was about to start this thread. This is my district and I will be supporting her. I don’t know if she has enough to get over the top but I know she will fight until the end. Sometimes I feel a little dirty based on who I pull the lever for (HRC). This will not be one of those times.

It seems like a high number of these cases involve white wimmenz calling the cops for stupid reasons. I find this not surprising at all.
-
If Dems had more organization and resources, they could make republicans in purple districts defend this stuff. Your average Wilco or north Dallas burbs moderate Republican doesn’t support the stuff in there.

It was made to be a 3 minute viral web video and appears to be successful. Now she can take all those small donations that'll come in and buy 30 second thought spots.
Texas 31 is R+10 but is the type of suburban district that could flip in a blue wave. I don't know much about John Carter.John Carter is a Republican that doesn’t make inflammatory statements often. He supports the military and pays lips service to education often. Hes basically the perfect candidate for this district right now. I think the district looks much more purple in a few years and he will retire so it will be interesting to see what happens.

For some of the olds, this might have some resonance. My dad has been a Republican as long as I can remember, and he used to revere everything George Will said. If he came on the boob-tube back in the 80s, my dad would shush anyone in the room. He's unfortunately been brainwashed by Fox News, so I'm not sure how he'll react nowadays or even if he'll know. It all depends on whether Hannity covers it.
I could have written this.

It’s summer and I’ve been pounding a lot of blondes (giddy up). Hi sign Christie(?) and Brazos valley killing time are both good options.

Tax cut looks pretty shitty when you turn around and try to cut SS and Medicare to balance the budget.

They are the blind squirrel that found a nut in 2016. Overall, they have a consistent record of being biased dogshit and I’m not surprised you would post their dogshit “data” here.

I grew up listening to the stories of old West Texas from my great grandmother who was born in 1900 in Arkansas then moved to West Texas at 4. She died just a few months shy of her 100th birthday so she had seen a lot of interesting things. For example, she arrived in Texas by covered wagon yet watched man land on the moon.....then still lived another 30 year after that.
Shortly after establishing their land in Texas, her uncle (fathers brother, I believe) Pat Garrett rode up to the house on a half dead horse. He took their best horse and rode off without ever saying a word. Only time she ever saw her father scared. This was much after his days of killing billy the kid and all that. It was at the end of his life when we was collector of customs in El Paso for teddy Roosevelt. Well, he got fired from that and was broke and in debt. He was killed a couple of year later.
