Joe Bob Last Drive In Halloween Spooktacular at Texas Theatre lineup.

    1. The Tingler - this is the perfect cult film to watch with an audience.
    2. Trick or Treat (1986) - Never seen this but enjoyed. Ozzy cameo was awesome.
    3. KISS Meets the Phantom - Holy shit this was possibly the worst movie I’ve ever seen. No worry the band has refused to acknowledge it. A blast with a drunk crowd.
    4. Halloween 3 - with a post viewing discussion between Joe Bob and Darcy - which was hilarious. He hates this movie with a passion. I’m a fan.
    5. Phantom of the Paradise - The film that inspired Daft Punk? Can’t believe I’ve never seen this, just awesome in every way. Paul Williams is a genius.

Had a great time. Would recommend.

Ha, we watch Halloween III every year on Halloween and honestly I have come to prefer it to the first two and enjoy my dozens of other cult members on the internet who watch it also. Where do you WANT to sleep Dr Challis?

MaXXXine is fun. I liked the 80s vibe and the cast. I’d rank them Pearl/X/MaXXXine.

Mia Goth is pretty talented. She has some interesting stuff lined up.

My wife loves them so we watched them all last weekend. I feel like its Pearl and then a big gap between that and the other two but they're all fine.

It's funny that people were talking after the OU game how Arch had turned it around. Yeah he threw for 160 yards. He didn't play bad, but he was just a bus driver and didn't have many of those WTF misses. Which, is probably pretty similar to what we would get from Caldwell if we made the switch.

People like blood sausage too. People are morons.

Finally watched Hereditary. What a wild ride that last act was. mdleast sold it to me as having the most audible dread in any movie he's watched.

The part where you see the mom in the corner and then she floats by. Just great at amping up the tension. The part where she starts chasing her son made us scream which my oldest and I rarely do while watching these.

So far we've watched, The Birds, Psycho, The Thing, Longlegs, Se7en, Talk To Me, and Weapons. We still need to get through The VVitch, Event Horizon, American Werewolf in London, Bring Her Back, and the youngest wants to watch The Shining.

We've watched Watcher, Lost Boys, Poltergeist, Halloween H20, The Craft, Seven, The Shining, Night of the Living Dead, Nightmare on Elm Street 1 and 3, Aliens, Weapons, Friday the 13th 1 and 2, ET, and maybe some more I forgot. We watch Halloween 1-3 on Halloween and the Crow if we have time.

A word of caution about disappointment, expectations, and instant gratification, especially at the QB position: If we look at the post-Colt McCoy era, we’ve seen disappointment resulting from expecting immediate greatness from new starting QBs on several occasions.  Garrett Gilbert was as blue-chip as they come, was abysmal taking the starting job after McCoy, and was booed out of town…….then he found success elsewhere and even lasted a few years in the league.  Shane Beuchele followed a similar script later.  There are other names I won’t go into depth on.  So how should we all digest such data now when, once again, the expected savior turns out, at best, to be a project that needs a lot of growth?  Show him the bench and the door after his first year as a starter?  Or perhaps history shows we should take our lumps now (this season), and “hope” to reap some benefits later?  “Trust the process” in the NIL transfer era at a place like Texas takes some discipline, I know, but maybe history says it might be the smarter long-term approach to the problem

Both of those other qbs looked like they had potential. Arch looks like complete ass in his third year. He has issues only he can fix and I don't know if he can. Also, how did virtually everyone get it wrong regarding this team and Arch? Is college football media that ignorant and worthless?

where was this energy when quinn had seven starts under his belt? quinn was just as ballyhooed as arch was, only unlike arch he showed up fat, unkempt, and out of football shape. and yet you guys swore until the bitter end that he was some UT legend who “led” Texas to back to back playoff appearances, despite the fact that he was surrounded by nfl talent that was out performing him on a weekly basis. for three years you not only didn’t want him benched, you swore he was awesome, despite all evidence to the contrary. why the impossibly long leash for quinn, but the rabid shit talking and dismissal of arch? i’d seriously love to know. it’s a fascinating turn of events.

I never liked Ewers either but you do you.

VY had 18 starts under his belt when a sizable portion of our fan base wanted him  benched and moved to wr in favor of chance mock.

No one cares and I'm sure you're embellishing anyway. Arch hasn't proven anything ever other than being a Manning. VY took some nobody school to the Texas state finals and then as a RS sophomore took texas to 11-1. Arch is a junior and already looks washed. He just doesn't have it. You can't come in as a junior who has sat two full seasons and look like this. O Line or not you should be leading the team and crushing it.

oh yeah, this was soooooo hard to see coming: the QE zealots holding arch to a higher standard than they ever did QE, even though Arch is on a dog shit with team with an impossibly bad o line. i bet arch would really love to have bijan robinson, jonathan brooks, roschon johnson, xavier worthy, ad mitchell, matthew golden, jordan whittington, jt sanders, gunnar helm, kelvin banks, jake majors, an entire online that was a finalist for the joe moore award, etc, etc, etc.

please do not come in here acting as if arch and quinn are in remotely similar situations.

Well Arch would under and overthrow all of them too.
