  1. The way he makes the sound roar as Kurt blurts out these lyrics just gets me there.

Wow, think about that cast.  Reeves' launchpad role, same for Joaquin Phoenix.  Peak Rick Moranis.  The great Jason Robards.  Arguably Dianne Wiest's best film role (next to "The Birdcage").  Peak Mary Steenburgen.  Fresh off awards season Tom Hulce.  And of course, the wonderful Steve Martin.  6 Oscar nominees in a film that also catapulted Ron Howard's directing career into another atmosphere, so to speak.

Not to mention Clint Howard is even perfect in the role of the overbearing little league parent. "HE HAD NO BUSINESS BEING OUT THERE!! NO BUSINESS!!!

Great film. The hospital scene at the end with the rollercoaster effect always sorta tears me up.

I'd keep knocking Mary Steenburgen up too.

Also, Rick Moranis' wife was too hot for him.

She's a teacher and he's a professor. They all mostly look like this couple dynamic.

  4. I still watch the movie Singles multiple  times a year. Their free show on the hill at KU in summer 1992 is still one of my favorite things I've ever attended. State of love and trust is still an all time banger.

Fraser is a piece of shit. Throwing the new chef under the bus on his first charter, even though the guests loved the food.

He's an awful leader. Piece of shit.

Old man yells at clouds.  Some damn solid mid-liners in there, but as per usual---80%+ are complete unknowns to me.  Always fun to discover new bands in real time in real live settings with real live under-butt.

But come the fuck on, Blink-182 as a night main-stage closer?  Seriously?  C'mon.  Some of those other bands headlining aren't my cup of tea but I know they/she are red hot right now.  Blink-182?  They couldn't book a Van's commercial 10 years ago and they're a Saturday closer for ACL now?  Did I miss a fucking meeting?

Chris, Sturgill, Leon, and Norah for the motherfucking win though.

And Grand Funk Railroad?  There's a 80% chance I walk around hiding my gray hair asking "Have any of you fellow young people possess any marijuana with which I can partake?"

Blink sold out like everywhere last year. It's gonna be a great show.

Sturgill and Caamp would probably be enough to get me down there.

Yea. I was slated to see him for the second time in march 2020 and am still bitter about it being cancelled. That'd be a really fun ACL show.

i would counter with the question -- if a Jew from Hungary declares himself an atheist, is he still a Jew? Is he then exactly the same as a Hungarian Christian who also declares himself an atheist?

So what makes someone a Jew?
