In my lifetime, AA have had more rights than any other "underserved" communities. More than any of the alphabet group, more than any other brown group that crosses a border to get here, etc. The 25+ years proceeding my birth, I've read they definitely had a rough time. Some of the most intelligent posters on this board are AA (I believe, I don't know them personally) so please miss me with low hanging racist one liners. Obtaining quality education and escaping poverty doesn't really see skin color. They dont give out home loans to poor white trailer trash any more than they do poor black/latino/other. If anything, I'd argue obtaining higher education was actually easier at some points in time.
What does your misinformed argument with lack of evidence have to do with a white supremacist little incel loser who shot and killed a bunch of people on a beautiful college campus in Florida, shattering the lives of many people and traumatizing countless others? Get the fuck out of here and jerk off to maga talking points which is the only pussy you’re gonna get

They all want to be little Timothy McVeighs and Eric Harris’s. Incel losers making the world pay for how big of losers they are using white supremacy as their ideological muse and violence as the way to make them pay. I hope they put him in general population in prison.

it really just depends what his intent was, and we don't know that yet
He stabbed a kid in the heart hard enough to kill him. His intentions are pretty fucking clear. It's not like he punched the kid and he fell and hit his head and died. He stabbed him straight middle of the chest and super hard.

Wearing sweat pants to 7th grade and being bullied for it because I didn't have any jeans. My parents divorced and immediately my mom had liver cancer when I was in 6th/7th grade. Had a liver transplant in KC at KU Med. My grandparents, brother and his wife, my mom and my stepdad all rented a house in KC burbs that year. Coming from a small town and then having next to nothing while going to middle school in the more affluent KC suburbs hurt bad and I was made fun daily. Made me find jobs so I can have money for clothes and stuff and I started lifting weights. This was the early 90s.

I think its going to end up being very simple. This kid took a knife to a track meet, ended up in an argument, and stabbed another kid to death.
Yes and then claiming self defense as if a person trying to get you out of his tent will warrant taking a knife out and stabbing that person right in the chest and killing him. I'm sure the lawyers will get this reduced to manslaughter or something.

So what I've gathered from this rather lengthy thread is that this is a very complicated case. Lot of ins lot of outs lot of whathaveyous?

Yeah the Jon Hamm show is good. Makes me want to watch Mad Men again. Too bad it's not on one of the 12 streaming services I pay for.
I bought all of it on blu ray. Fuck streaming

Florida just won so that's 7. Kentucky is smoking Akron so that's 8.

With 14 entries, SEC should easily have highest number of teams in Sweet 16.
I mean I think they will and I think that the SEC was a little overrated. The tournament is also not a great barometer of conference strength as its about match ups and shit just happens. The SEC will get like 8 teams into the R32. From there who knows. Depends on match ups.

The tournament sucks so far. Likely because there are not as many developed studs in the mid majors anymore because they transfer. Give me just one end of game comeback. Just one!

I think Gaga has lost her edge. Both performances were more goofy than avant-garde. She has very devoted fans, so I think she’ll stick around as a pop star, but she hasn’t had a solo number 1 hit since 2011.
She’s a terrific pianist, singer, and actor. I hope she can find the right lane.
She's 38 why would she still be edgy? Her album is pretty good actually. She's getting married. She's not the hot young pop start anymore and that's okay. It's hard to continue to find inspiration and make music as you age and she's still doing it wonderfully.

It’s a 12 hour shift and 15 EPS season. Wylie has stated the last three are different a bit. Is it going to be a situation that requires an all hands on deck call?
I know Langdon would be part of some drawn out process with the hospital legal crew, HR, and other bureaucrats to keep Langdon on staff, but I found Robby’s immediate banishment satisfying. Probably because I had an employee take advantage of the company programs and got bamboozled by his family covering for him. Fucking unrepentant alcoholic who needed to be fired just like that.
Robbie's job is an impossible job and he handles it super well. So many different hats he has to wear.

I'll be curious how much they feel like they need to circle back on in the final episodes. I kinda hope some of the loose ends just stay loose and they end the day with just whatever happens in the next 3 hours.
- I don't need to have the son come back and do something crazy, the payoff was the conflict and reconciliation between Robbie and McKay
- I don't need retribution on the asshole patient. The payoff is that the job is fucking dangerous
- I don't need some kind of Dr Robbie mental breakdown. I get it -- it's a fucking hard day for him personally compounded by a worse than normal day in The Pitt.
- Interested to see if the Shawn Hatosy character comes back later or not...
I think this has been renewed, right?
It's a 15 hour shift so I doubt they will circle back. It has been renewed for a second season. I'm really enjoying it. I hope it goes on for several seasons.

Anora is coming to the Criterion Collection at the end of April for all my fellow olds who still collects and watches physical media.

So they lured her in there and entrapped her in an endless cycle of innie torture?

My wife’s family had a honor walk for her cousin two thanksgivings ago from accidental fentanyl od after taking Xanax. Man that sequence was tough to watch. Great show
