  1. I'm surprised two TEs blocking can't improve the running game.
Which two are playing in 12 most often? Endries and Townsend? I know Shannon is kinda useless.

2 TE’s helps blocking, but it also brings extra defenders into the box. The receivers are also lined up tighter on that set…more defenders. Added shit factor is that with the defenders in close proximity, disguising coverages, extra rushers and run gap assignment is fucking MILES more easy and effective. That makes it tougher on everyone mentally. Often we don’t get pass the recognition phase…to the actual “make the play” phase.
  2. I get the sentiment, and OU's offense is very flawed with an offensive efficiency ranking of 54. But, UT's is 41. For reference, Iowa is 48. OU and UT have by far the worst offensive efficiency ranking among playoff contenders. In an argument of more deserving, it might be a better argument against ND as they're 0-2 against teams in the playoff mix.
The problem is ND only lost by 3 to 10-2 Miami on a FG with a minute to play and by 1 to 11-1 aggy on a 4th down TD with eleven seconds left after ND missed an extra point while they've handled everyone else in a manner that they should. Easy to say they are a couple plays from undefeated. UT can talk away couple plays away from losses to tOSU and UF. But there's no undoing the UGA loss and no amount of "it was close until...." changes the final score.
Those three teams have an interesting look though:
    Strength of Record: OU-9, UT-12, ND 13
    Strength of Schedule: UT-8, OU 12, ND-42
    Game Control: ND-5, OU-9, UT-17
    Average in-game win probability: ND-5, OU-16, UT-45
    Offensive efficiency: ND-3, UT-41, OU-54
    Defensive efficiency: OU-4, ND-8, UT-11
    Special teams: OU-2, UT-5, ND-64

Are the rankings in your first paragraph adjusted for opponents or nah? If the latter, there’s really no utility in discussing them.
  3. Based on known facts. I agree and there is zero factual evidence supporting that thought that Ole Miss will perform worse without Lane. Lots of reasonable speculation, but zero facts.

I buy that, but I was presuming a significant exodus of the staff also.

  4. Well, FSU lost their star player and QB and their issues were clear prior to the choice. So FSU players were "punished" for a player issue.
That's not the same as punishing the players for a coach's choice.

It’s not a punishment. It’s selecting the best teams, as they exist, at the time of selection.
  5. Kratom and delta 8/9 are totally different discussion topics. But at least we have brisket here to divert to cuck porn.

When I hear synthetic Delta-9, I think of K-2/Spice which is terrible shit.

  6. fuck you, fuck your kids, fuck your church, fuck your parents, and fuck everyone who fucks with you. you bring cruelty and terror to your brothers and sisters in christ and then you turn around and play the victim and claim to be the one who is being persecuted. fuck. you.

Also, fuck them as a staff, record label AND as a motherfuckin’ crew!

  7. I was fine with that call.  It did have helmet to helmet and a launch.  Wish it was illegal to hit Texas players like that though.

Is the receiver considered defenseless on that play? It appears that way to me, but I haven’t read the actual definition in years.
  8. After two years opinion on his economy will be baked in, just like it was for Biden. He had a narrow mandate for lowering prices and lit it on fire. He and his movement are toast.

Correct, but 2 years ago, the entire “Biden economy” was effectively meme’s and TikTok’d in a dumbed down manner…EGGS! That was so easy to go viral.

It’s not enough that the economy BE shitty. What’s required to get independent’s to not vote for the GOP is that it becomes cool, Zeitgeist shit to post about it all over the dumbest parts of the internet.

  9. So what's the new play? Get the Senate to take the hit, who he owns even more completely? Or just buying time to figure out how to bury anything else with his name on it?

I wonder if his crack legal team is telling him that the bad shit won’t come out because of some legal prohibition. There was some disclaimer/equivocation in his post…”can have whatever they are legally entitled to.”

  10. Sark was out coached.  Nothing more, nothing less.  We had 9 penalties while Georgia only had 1.  The same crew that called all the penalties in the SEC championship game last year showed up in Athens and continued the string of holding calls on Texas. We have to be better out of the bye weeks.  This was pathetic.

Yeah, so only some penalties are attributable to lack of focus/detail by a coaching staff. It’s kind of a “hot take” to just say “look at how many flags!!! No discipline from the staff!!!”

There is other evidence of coaching deficiencies, but like…a bunch of OL holding infractions? That’s not coaching. That’s getting beat. OL holding infractions when they get whipped. Our get whipped A LOT.

That said, the number of pre-snap penalties, IMO is telling WRT coaching approach.

EXTRA concerning for me is the frequency we have pre snap flags on our punt team.

  11. Fucking exactly. He absolutely refuses to adapt to the players he has.
Say all you want about Mack and GD not getting credit for VY because they “stopped coaching him” but what they did do was install and entirely new offensive system to utilize his best skills. Sark would never and has never shown an ability or even a desire to do similar.

What are you talking about? The system we have been running for 3 games now is not at all Sark’s primary preferred scheme which we had been trying to force the early part of the season.

  12. Yep. The victim, Giuffre, also said Trump did nothing wrong, didn’t have sec with him, etc…. No one is believing her over these emails from Epstein/Maxwell. They are much more credible.

Your characterization of Giuffre’s remarks about Trump is not accurate.

She stated that she didn’t “THINK Trump participated in anything.” She elaborated that she “never saw or witnessed Trump participate in those acts, but was he in the house of Epstein? I’ve heard he has been but I haven’t seen him myself so I don’t know.”

That is MILES different than saying he didn’t do anything. She never even saw him at the house. Of course she was not always there, so her statement is not as conclusory as your summary of her comments makes them out to be.

ETA: This is important because it’s entirely reasonable to believe that she was telling the truth AND Trump did sex from stuff involving Epstein’s operation.

  13. Why now? It was trading around $0.40 in June, and spiked when the entire sector spiked due to Trump/China/tariff tensions. Further dilution is coming, that is known. Their latest quarterly report showed greater current liabilities than they had cash in the bank ($6M), and they still need at least another $100M to complete phase I of their project.
Needing a China win, Trump is now back in love with Xi again and the sector is drifting down to where it was before the frenzy. I wouldn't bother DCA'ing until you get the sense that Trump has decided its time to play macho man again with more tariffs on China (probably a matter of "when", not "if"). But without that as a catalyst, what's supporting the price?

Bumped this post to say that I held off on adding more WWR. Happy about it, since it just dipped below $1.00
  14. So....let me get this straight, from the most brilliant business mind the world has ever seen:
"What I want is instead of going to the insurance companies [so, this money will NOT be going to the insurance companies.  Got it.], I want the money to go into an account for people where the people buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody is gonna be happy. They're gonna feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out and negotiate their own health insurance [....by buying that insurance from...insurance companies.  So, turns out, this money WILL be going to the insurance companies.  Got it.].
    Dumbest.  Fucking.  Timeline.  Imaginable.
Because, I mean.....yeah.  Cletus and Lurlene are gonna sit at the table across from BCBS, and "feel like entrepeneurs," and tell BCBS "we'll pay you $300 a month for full coverage, and not a penny more!  Take it or leave it!"  Yep.  That'll work.  Fart of the deal.

I would presume that the “accounts” for people will be accessed on a government website. I would also assume that the various options from insurers will be advertised or whatever on there. That actually might be a decent idea. I would kinda think of that whole interface/website as…

    an exchange, if you will.

ETA: The money in the account could appropriately be referred to as a health care credit. I’m on board now.

  15. Added 5000 UUUU at $14.9999.  We get a bounce and I’ll trade the position.  Am prepared to hold long term otherwise.

What are you thinking as far as a target for pulling the trigger on a bounce if it occurs?
  16. Yea the old “I have nothing to offer but I want everything you have!” negotiation tactic is a classic.

The other issue is that if the ACA subsidies are taken up and even passed as a “clean” standalone measure, DOTARD can just veto it or threaten to veto it, which Johnson/Thune will use as cover.
