For some reason, possibly the different camera angle, I didn’t notice whole watching live that Arch made such a deliberate move to pop the pylon with his right forearm (not carrying the football). That’s some serious awareness of the situation and rules of the game. It just really impressed me.

It’s funny because I’m always referring to Levy as the Jerry Jones of soccer.
* By “funny”, I mean nauseating and terrifying. -

ahh somebody's jealous! To paraphrase Ric Flair, Joe's shoes cost more than Anthony's house Â
That’s a weird take. He never talks shit about Rogan. He only mocks the mob of dipshit JRE bros/cult phenomenon.
ETA: AJ has a HUGE issue with comics crying about cancel culture. It’s so overblown and has become a crutch for hacks to derive material from. A LOT of the Rogan crown see themselves as true 1st Amendment warriors and it’s laughable.-

Things that happened in game I have seen blame placed:
All the replay reviews going against aggy.Â
Replay official is UT grad
UT band played too long causing communication issues
Officials did not allow aggy proper time to substitute on 12 men in field penalty.Â
Â
What else?
I love the last “point”. They allowed time to sub. What they didn’t allow was time for a 12th player to jog on the field, start looking around for a bit, and then run back off of the field. That’s not a substitution.-

I have been proven wrong in this thread before, so I went at looked at it again before I posted. He does the whole knee bend fake hand off look and immediately looks at Davis in the flat. Golden is run blocking, so the only real option is Davis, but York doesn't bite on the run look and stays outside. Quinn pumps to Davis instead of throwing the ball, the window was there, but Davis likely gets blown up. Quinn thinks he has the angle but their edge comes free and chases him down from behind. Quinn doesn't secure the ball until after their edge already is in the process of punching at the ball.
Yeah. That’s a fuckup by Quinn then. If York doesn’t bite on the handoff then he is supposed to hand the ball off. That’s kinda the whole point.
ETA: Someone that knows more about this than me, which is a lot of people can explain this better. Maybe he isn’t actually supposed to read the coverage assignment for Davis but is actually just checking an LB/safety to see if they drop, resulting in a light box. If not then it’s just dropping back and looking for an open guy. I’m actually not sure.
Regardless. Tuck the ball and anticipate contact when you take off like that. -
Yes, Arch in an RPO red-zone package.Â
It’s well documented that Arch isn’t comfortable or particularly effective with the RPO game. Zone reads, designed qb runs and play action passing are the things we will feature for him. -
We have years left with Arch. Let Quinn have his moment with his team.Â
Lol wut?
No. And that’s not why he’s the current QB1. The thought that any coach worth a fuck would agree with that sentiment and act on it is crazy. -
Thank you for saying what he said in another way.
Who was the key he was reading and who was the intended receiver I couldn’t tell. -
He did technically run the ball, but that wasn't the correct option.
QB run is not one of the options on that play. -
It was a RPO but the WR wasn't open so he kept it trying to pick up the 1st down. He didn't put the ball away until late and the aggy edge made a great play.
So it was a run/pass option and he ended up doing neither of the two options on that play? -
I wish we had a gif of the 4q when Majors caught the sky cam on him and just smiled and nodded. Cracked me up for some reason.

He moved much better than I anticipated and I give him a lot of credit for gutting through basically the entire game when he was clearly hobbled. He definitely ain’t a pussy.
The turnovers are what they are at this point. His arm angle leads to way too many tipped passes. I’ll give some credit to the A&M guy on the fumble as that was a good play but we shouldn’t have put Quinn in that situation in the first place. Bring in Arch if you want to do RPO/zone read stuff in the redzone.
Was the fumble on zone read? It wasn’t on an RPO, since he didn’t throw it or hand it off. To me (not sober) it looked like the pass wasn’t there so he just decided to say fuck it and see what he could make happen on the ground. -
Wikipedia says 26-22-2Â going back to 1915. Â 1915 was the 13-0 game that lead to Bevo's name. Â Texas neither scored nor won in College Station until 1923. Â Texas did not get another win in CS until 1941.
That’s not how Bevo got his name.-

Or, they could have a package of Zone Reads, true RPO’s and some deep balls. WildArch.
So basically, the exact same plays we run with Quinn but add a Zone Read? -
I think you’re underselling the Oklahoma economy. It’s not just meth. There is also stealing copper wire and selling it as scrap metal. Also, I Dian casinos. Also, legal cannabis products shops.Â
Every dime ever made from scrapping stolen copper has been spent on meth.-

He was injured to the point we had to turn to the running game, completely.... I don't think that will work for 4 quarters against aggy on Saturday.
That wasn’t the point. Try and keep up.-

He completely fell apart, and had no business playing. We threw six passes in the second half for 14 yards.Â
Totally agree, and I didn’t say anything to the contrary. -
If Ewers is able to play through an injury, unless I'm forgetting some game in the last three years, it will be the first time. His minor injuries normally have him missing 2-3 games.Â
Didn’t he do it like 6 days ago?-

The sad part is it's not us who set the expectations in the media. It's his camp and media machine he's built around himself.Â
You can't cry about shit thats your own doing.Â
Is he crying about it?-

What country is everyone moving to?
Nowhere. I’ll be ok here as far as I can tell.

I have a smart money guy so any economic collapse will hurt but not in a significant way. My job is also “everything proof”.-

Not in the deep ball. He just doesn’t have a good feel for it. The intermediate throw down the middle of the field looked more like last year, that was one of the better signs from Quinn’s game yesterdayÂ
Yeah. I was not asserting at all any improvement in the deep passes at all. Specifically I just saw some difference in the intermediate stuff, willingness to throw over the middle a lot more and a bit more poise/movement in the pocket.
