  1. So now does Urquidy get dealt for prospects?
  2. Comparing Siri to Soto at all is the worst comparison I've ever seen.
  3. Prospects are a dime a dozen for them and it's better than losing them in the rule 5 draft
  4. You're right, but my point still stands. They love outfield defense and teams will think they can make Siri work with his stats from last year the MLB level and AAA this year.
  5. Rays love good defensive outfielders like Kevin Kiermier(sp?) . Also you forgot about the prospect the Rays got back from the Astros.
  6. Bell did play 60 innings in the outfield last year. Only 1 game though this year.
  7. McDermott was drafted with Springers supplemental pick so even when he leaves he still helps us
  8. I just read a recent prospect article for 40 man roster crunches. Murray was on that list as a must add for Tampa. Makes sense why they traded him.
  9. Rays really needed a center fielder
  10. He is a 1 out above average outfielder according to basba savant for 2022
  11. Found it, the Alvarez pitcher cost the Dodgers $32 million to sign including $16 million in fees. https://www.latimes.com/sports/dodgers/la-sp-yordan-alvarez-dodgers-cuban-signings-mistakes-astros-20190706-story.html
  12. IIRC it was a pitcher and the Dodgers said no to the deal thinking the Astros wanted the pitcher
  13. IIRC Martinez hasn't played one game in the outfield this year
  14. Platoon is very simple. You play the guy that can hit lefties against lefties, and the guy that can hit righties against righties.
  15. He never replicated numbers close to that All star year.
  16. So where's the Odorizzi hate today?
  17. What about Yordan owning Gerrit Cole?
  18. Do you mean JD Martinez in the second part?
  19. I'm not going to call Ryan the best closer ever but when people complain about him I would like to hear a solution. The only thing I could think of would be Montero in the closer role. I think they are best where they are but that would be my only answer. Montero also struggled as a closer in Seattle.
  20. He was 21/24 for saves before today. I didn't see you complaining when he got 31 people out in a row or whatever it was
  21. For anyone else that missed it.
