Houston baseball trip
As has been stated there are many, many hotel options in downtown that are easy walking distance from Minute Maid Park and more bars/restaurants than you can count. Hotels.com is the answer you seek on that. You likely will not have the chance to have my barbeque that week though. I'll be in Chicago at the Windy City Smokeout. If you feel a strong urge for barbeque while you're here, catch an Uber or Lyft and go to Pinkerton's. It's not too far from downtown and is very solid. There are others that may be mentioned in proximity to downtown, but Pinkerton's is the correct answer. And yeah, Saint Arnold's is not really walkable from downtown. 8th Wonder is, and Sigma is on the light rail line going east so its also easy to get to.

That was hilarious. I didn’t think Jean would actually open your tab under that name.

IT WAS RHETORICAL, FARLEY! I’ve talked about doing a class before, but honestly just not quite full of myself enough to have done one. But I would, if enough folks had interest.

How much does camp brisket cost? Cause I’d be inclined to hold a class if there is enough interest.

Lunch service is 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Starting tomorrow that is extended to 9:00 pm. And yes, butterfinger brisket is tomorrow. I have 3 working. They will probably only last until 1:00 or so.

Nice. Now can you say that in English so the rest of us can understand?

Buck's Barbeque Co.
Yes. Even though goofyque was a shaggyism, and shaggy was my playground (not Wes'), Wes adopted it for PC and I agreed not to use it at Buck's. Hence Lazarus' creation of the term #barbecrazy.

Do I need to send you a cease and desist? And its #barbecrazy

Fake news I txted NOMMMAAAAAAAAAAA the link and told him I made him famous. Sort of. DV wrote what he wanted to write, despite what I might have said to him. Its all good. I just made the butterfinger brisket famous, even though someone else created it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Daniel is known to prefer lean brisket. And even with the diss on my moist brisket, he came with a strong take on the lean (and everything else in general). I’m pleased with this piece.

Make your way to Asheville sometime and eat at Buxton Hall. Elliot Moss is a bad ass on the pit- Buck's Barbeque Co.
This should be an interesting week. I have reason to believe that Buck’s will be the subject of a texasmonthly.com article sometime this week. I have a photo shoot with them this afternoon. So there’s that. Friday this week will be butterfinger brisket day (in addition to meatloaf and all the other good shit I cook). I may even do some beef ribs to celebrate. Celebrate what, you ask? Oh...just me being the awesome guy I am. (Totally joking...I just feel like cooking beefers)- Hey Steel Shank!
My lunch did not suck. Sorry, no paper plates handy- Beef ribs
Y’all are over thinking this. 1. Go to meat counter 2. Ring bell for service 3. Tell butcher you need a rack of beef ribs, either chuck or plate, that you don’t care which. But that you need the whole rack 4..... 5. Profit- Buck's Barbeque Co.
Any Friday that someone asks for it. Meatloaf is Friday only- Buck's Barbeque Co.
I’ll be popped up at both 8th Wonder and at Lucky’s Pub. Team USA v Team Scotland rugby match at BBVA. It’ll be cuhraaazy down here- Houston Restaurants You Miss The Most
Mama’s Cafe served the best meatloaf in town. And the broccoli rice casserole and fried okra were the tits. Add the margarita with sangria topper and you have a case of pure win. I lament its passing. - Buck's Barbeque Co.
