  1. Saw Evanescence and Lindsey Stirling this past weekend in The Woodlands. Wifey bought the tix. Pretty good show.

Lindsey needs to add to her music or she wont last long. Dancing violinist will start to get old unless she starts getting some vocals involved.

  2. it's tuesday conference call time, and for the 7 of you that care, the 3 that will take the time to ask questions, the hundreds of you that live with your parents and will hurl misspelled insults, and closetojumping, here is what you can expect from my ags this year:

  3. Agree. There was tangible improvement for him. When exactly was the unknown. I remember him getting toasted alot because he would lose the receivers. But now we have a time frame of when it started to turn around for him.

Glad it did cuz I had high hopes for him and Hill when they arrived. But was starting to think that he wouldnt live up to the hype.

I think it was right after they installed some sort of camera on his helmet so they could address what he was seeing or not seeing (iirc, there was an article about that). Then suddenly things started to click for him. If so, what a tremendous, forward-thinking coaching job by these guys.

The biggest adjustment in Boyd's game that helped him take his level of play up several notched came as the Longhorns were heading into an Oct. 21 home game against Oklahoma State. With Boyd struggling to find the ball and be in the right place at the right time, Orlando and the defensive staff mounted a camera to Boyd’s helmet during practice leading up to the game against the Cowboys to get a better feel for where Boyd's eyes were going and to help him get them in the right place.

  5. If Bonney is able to get on their campus and become a starter then I am happy for the kid. He has worked his ass off and has always been a team player.  So best of luck to him.

But I wouldn't sweat it too much with him being on the opposite side of the field. I am sure the offense will probably switch up hand signals for that game. Also, Shane/Sam are getting more comfortable changing the play up at the line of scrimmage.

The team knows what are Bonneys' strength and weaknesses. If I was Herman/Beck, I would call a lot of plays that exploits his weaknesses.

  6. If you're spending that much money, Rainbow. Get a used one on ebay and save hundreds.

This. We bought new and it was ~$3K. But let me tell ya..you have no idea how disgusting your house is until you use a rainbow. It is asthma and allergy certified. Also AHAM certified. You can get a prescription for it actually.

  7. Does anyone else get the feeling that the investigative reporters are just waiting till Monday to drop more stuff to contridict Meyer, to get full value from the media cycle?

It really does nothing to drop hit peices over the weekend and with Meyer releasing his statement so late on Friday, there was no value into poking holes into until Monday.

Nah..reporters are like paparazzi/crack feins. They want to be the first to publish a story.
