Lot of people assuming we’ll develop these guys… 😬
hope y’all are right
Why you gotta do that. Aren’t you going there to fix the problem?

It feels like last year we got some kids who can contribute immediately on the OL. This year we're going to take kids who are going to be buns we put in the oven, set their expectations accordingly, set them up with NIL money, let them bake for 3-4 years, and see which of them turn into loaves of beautiful bread.
TLDR: Flood knows what he's doing. So they’ll be bread even after we develop them?

Does anyone know his SPARQ score
i know he probably tested well and wanted an offer for a long time so this is great to see.

Hell all Manning need do is win. No amount of manager "brand building" on instagram can add up to the brand building of getting Texas "back." There will be a tsunami of positive publicity, and an indelible brand will be built. All it takes is winning. Typing shit on insta, is just some sort of foreplay.
I thought Ewers is supposed to do this

Ohio State offered this QB from Dripping Springs, after they watched him at a camp. He is currently committed to Baylor.

This thread was a lovely catch up. I thought there was some transfer news.
New here?
Just kidding, that was a joke, please don’t give me a vacation as I enjoy reading the threads and occasionally posting. Big fan of your work, have a good day

Pretty sure he's a linebacker in college.
I don’t think so, smarty pants. He is a safety in high school and he plays in NJ.

Not sure why Deal is so set on playing DL. Just going to waste a year or two of development before he inevitably switches to the other side of the ball. Dude would be a first round pick on the OL. You would think with his dad being a coach he would have pointed him that direction by now.
Same. Not sure what his deal is

Cool cool, a 5 star 2019 recruit with more transfers (3) than TDs (2)

It's insane. I'm sure Johnson technically played some garbage snaps here and there, but for all intents and purposes, 3 of the top 5 recruits from that class never even stepped on the field for us.
Who would you even say is the "best" player from that class? I'd say the top 3 are Whittington (great talent, always injured), RoJo (great Longhorn and team leader, but essentially just a backup RB), or Sweat (a competent P5 DT and not much more). If that's the top 3 guys you get from a 26-man class, you're gonna have a bad time.
RoJo good, can't fault him for behind Bijan, so that backup tag is a little misleading. He's averaged 5.3, 5.2, 5.9 ypc in his first three years

He's 1,000% committed to seeing him play. That being said, he remains 100% open to watching other kids play instead. #shocktheworld

Davis’ point is that Herman helped with his recruitment (to get him to OSU) and then helped with his journey (by allowing Burrow to toss 471 yards and 4 TDs against Texas back in 2019).

not sure where to put this but extremely relevant for Card and other QB recruiting. We have hope.

Disagree completely. Guys like Jaydon Chatman, Deldrick Mason, and Jaden Platt are barely in the top 50. The class has plenty of talent in state - the bigger issue is that most of the top talent isn’t that interested in Texas right now. That’s the impact of the 1-6 finish.
You can look at it as a 1-6 finish if you want but it was also a 1-0 finish which was huge for momentum in December. Absolutely huge. Hard to overstate.
Resulted in a few big time flips and great portal success.- 2
