BYU is really bad, so I don't think it will matter how much of an egg we lay. This should be an easy cover.
people said the same thing about UH….

Houston's QB is the guy that started for Tech against us last year.

hmm well that game didn’t turn out so well. i’m also blanking on why we lost. which tends to happen. i block those games out.
how’d he look?

haven’t watched a single UH game?
is their qb mobile and throws an accurate short and midrange pass?
if not. we cover easily.
if so, we get a sarkles special and hope to pull away in the fourth

whoever winning helps Texas
be it against teams ranked ahead of Texas
be it against teams in a higher conference standing
be it against recruiting rivals

It is a false historical equivalence that the Israeli government = Hamas. Any rationalization or excuse to this behavior is Hamas propaganda.
more is coming out about this 40 dead babies were found in one small area. babies, not kids, not teenagers, fucking babies. many were decapitated. all in a single small village with a population of under800 people. i can’t even comprehend this. i guess they raided a daycare?
it’s beyond the worst of narcos. did the nazis even behead babies?? i’m going to throw up

if sarkles loses three games this year with this scheduled he needs to be fired.
simple as that
how much is left on the contract? i have a feeling his agent will start trying to get it extended.
no extension unless he wins the big12

Puts things in perspective nicely if we can manage not to fuck it up again. That said, Oregon/Washington/USC will have very strong resumes
seriously, what had sark done to make you think we can win out? we play down to our competition every other game

look, it fucking sucks people lost their land 90 years ago. it truly does.
but it comes a point where for the betterment of their own society they need to move on.
i bet gaza and the west bank would be a much better place to live now if a true peace treaty had happened in the 80s..

We were 10-10 against Wyoming without their QB going into the 4th quarter, 20-14 late in the 3rd against KU without their QB, and we slept through the first half against Rice. This is our best and most talented team since 2009, but it was never really looking like a dominant scary good team. Mack probably had 5 better teams (05, 08, 09, 04, and 01).
This feels kind of like 2000, 2002, or 2003 Mack teams. There is a lot talent and some stars. But we are also still young in places, still have some less talented guys in places, and some of the coaching seems like an issue at times.
We aren’t really going to be scary good until we have prime upperclassmen NFL prospects across both lines and a stud QB. You need to be able to run on teams at will on offense and cause havoc on defense with just a 4 man rush to be scary good. We run all over the middling teams, but we’re not there yet against the good opponents. We actually have the QB, but 3 turnovers and 1 TD obviously isn’t the best result. But we should have been able to score more during his 23/24 hot streak, and the fact that we didn’t finish more drives during that part of the game wasn’t his fault.
I thought the DL might have been getting to that elite level based on the Bama game, but OU handled our DL better than I anticipated. Part of it is Gabriel being a mobile QB, but a big part of it was our edge rushers getting owned. Anthony Hill just trying to chase people down with speed and hustle shouldn’t really be our best edge pass rushing option, but it was today.
this. people drank too much coolaid. this is a possibly decent to good team, but not world beaters. people glossed over a lot of major red flags
just fucking sucks OU is already better than us in year 2 under their new coach.

Outside of Colorado, ou is the most improved team by far this year. A better improved in year 2 than Sark. At the end of the day, we probably have to realize Venables is simply a better coach than our guy.
There is no god.
bob stoops vs “just have fun” mack 2.0 i fear

Final margins of 8 points or less, here's where Texas is under Sark
2021: 2-5
2022: 2-5
2023: 0-1
Overall: 4-11If we aren't winning big, we're probably losing.
now that’s a sign of a good coach

No other Texas QB in our history completed more passes in a row than Ewers did today. He missed on 2 of his last 27 passes with one of those being a Hail Mary….and yet the turnovers that lost the game…

There is no universe in which a 12-1 Texas Big12 champs misses the CFP. They want us bad.
Today sucked, but really only thing preventing us is us.

if any badass qb would end up staying for his senior year it would be Arch. Mannings always talk about how important college is for not only development, but branding.
