  1. Shane shouldn't have to do anything to win this game, just manage it. Fuck I hope Sam is alright. We should be able to beat Baylor without him and let him rest, though.

Yeah, I wonder what their "thinking" was on how going to the Big Ten would affect their recruiting.

    Bold strategy. Didn't work out.

I can sum up their thinking y their 2010 slogan: "Wear Red. Be Loud. Beat Texas."

Their mindset was literally nothing more than a middle finger to the University of Texas. They cut off their enormous pants-pissing nose to spite their face. Worked out like a charm, eh?

  3. The funniest thing about Nebraska being down is that nobody seems to care. When teams like USC or Michigan or Texas are down, lots and lots and lots of articles scrutinizing everything they do right or wrong, questioning when they will be back. There is intense pressure for those schools to rebound quickly. Articles written every year they're not back in the top 25.

Nebraska? They've been down for a while now, and nobody seems to bat an eye. I'd imagine most of the country flat out forgets Nebraska exists unless they are in the top 25.

You sir are one insufferable cunt. I think you should consider taking time away from the board before you completely soil your pants in front of everyone.

  5. "I don't care what you have to say about me being a virgin" says the nerd posting about it twice within 10 minutes with literally thousands of posts on the THIRD spinoff fan site of a college football team.

Oh come on. We should have been ranked after the Maryland loss? That would have been the most ridiculous ranking ever.

hey regard, I said we should have been ranked 4 weeks after the MD loss. You know, when we were 4-1 with 2 wins over top 25 teams.

Like we were in virtually every other poll, except SI's.

Everyone thinks Herman is smug and arrogant, but he doesn't hold a candle to little Lincoln who learned everything from Bobby..

Near the end a reporter asks: "Lincoln can you walk us through the last two offensive series"? *Lincoln* "No" (stares the room down defiantly)

Yeah, that was really awkward. I couldn't tell if he didn't want to reveal his strategy? Bizarre non answer.

His entire strategy is a dick in his ass, so no, he didn't want to reveal it.

I really think that putting together three (or four, now five) wins was really, really key for this team. We really truly had forgotten how to win with any consistency. We have had the talent I think to do this for a few seasons now, but a variety of factors have conspired against it happening.

What gets me is how physical we are all over the place. Every position, our players are all of the sudden goddamn men. It starts at QB, Ehlinger is tough as nails.

I just can't remember a more physical Texas team unless we go back to like 2005. We beat people up now.

  9. I can't fucking believe how everyone is breaking out all the same time. All of the sudden, after a decade in the desert, we suddenly have playmakers all over the place. Even the fucking freshman kicker is shining. Best Texas team in a decade. I think we win the conference this year.

  10. Sam Ehlinger has entered ESPN's heisman watch: http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/page/gamedayfinal100618/welcome-big-12

    Heisman 5

    1. Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama: In the past decade, only three quarterbacks have had at least 20 touchdowns and no interceptions through their team's first six games: Tagovailoa, Marcus Mariota (twice!) and Geno Smith.

    2. Dwayne Haskins, Ohio State: He's got 25 touchdown passes through six games. In the past decade, he's just the fifth QB to do that.

    3. Darrell Henderson, Memphis: The running back is averaging 12 yards per carry and has 12 rushing touchdowns already.

    4. Kyler Murray, Oklahoma: Yes, the Sooners lost, but it's hard to pin all of that on Murray, who finished with five more touchdowns, bringing his season total to 26 -- eight more than Baker Mayfield had at this point last year.

    5. Sam Ehlinger, Texas: So what if we're overreacting to one week. Texas is back, baby!

Just like Colt, looks like an amazing game in the RRS has propelled Sam into the national conversation. Atta fucking boy!

I feel bad for Closetojumping. This rivalry win must be tough for him.

Sam "Mehlinger" is going to get way, way, way more pussy tonight than Closetojumping will ever see in his entire lifetime.
