  1. tandy miller In reply to phatty26 • 6:40p AG This team ain't making it to Omaha unless they are spectating
  2. When they were all in their prime. I bet that Artis or Kareem wouldn't like to stand their ground and take a charge on the court from that midget.
  3. If he really liked rape he would say it twice, instead of Colorado State. If you are old enough, you have to click watch on youtube.
  4. Coach Terry has been practicing and is ready.
  5. It is starting to sink in now for lots of them now. Texas A&M Baseball & Softball Sponsored by Post Reply 1 of 1 This Team Is Lost 375 Views | 3 Replies | Last: 5 min ago by TAMUallen S.A. Aggie 5:29p AG They don't even have a map. Even if we get a new coach every will be leaving at the end of the season. zephyr88 In reply to S.A. Aggie • 5:34p AG And based on what we've seen so far, that's a bad thing? 2 kevmiller 5:37p If we tank this season, which is looking inevitable.. with the roster we had, the expectations, preseason #1. We won't keep a roster worth anything for next season. If we can't win with this roster how are we supposed ro win with a less talented roster? This is why so many stressed we can't hire a coach just because the returning players wanted him. Those guys will be long gone while we are still trying to rebound our program from this debacle. Shaping up to be basically worst possible sequence of events imaginable. Hire an unproven coach because returning players wanted him. Coach and players fall flat on their faces Players leave- Coach fired We spend the next 2-3 years picking up the broken pieces and trying to rebound the program Aggie athletics ladies and gentlemen .. catch the fever!! 2 1 edit TAMUallen 5:38p AG They're so uninspired.
  6. Jimbo broke the bank. I remember some saying that hefty pitching coach would help Earley from any problems. His wealth of experience coming over from Washington would erase losing Weiner. Not so much.
  7. Aggy excuses list. After four game losing streak, it's early. Lose the first SEC game of the season at home, just one game. Lose the first SEC series of the season at home, just the first series. We have injuries, the weather was cold, and we hit homers, can't do that in this kind of weather. Pitching is still good. Two straight ninth inning collapses and others this season. From #1 team to 10-8 on the year. Should fall out of the rankings soon.
  8. Olsen Magic baby! Another ninth inning collapse.
  9. This too, all of it is an embarrassment.
  10. The only reason would be the name and history in basketball over Texas. Even though Texas leads all time in the series 7-1.
  11. ESPN rolls usually with whatever setup the home team provides. They will provide more for a national broadcast on an ESPN channel. Stanford has had the same crappy stream for over 20 years. They usually have students for announcers. They were a baseball power for years and have all the money in the world. It should be an embarrassment to them. Most baseball big time schools have fixed camera sites in place and it's no big deal. Just get some announcers or use the home team radio feed.
  12. The kept the band together though. Too bad the music isn't in tune under the new director Earley.
  13. I believe that would be the original color of her hair before she decided to go blonde.
  14. Since the 1980's when in 80-83 Will Clark, Rapheal Palmero, Jeff Brantley, and Bobby Thigpen all played on the same team for MSU, Mississippi State has always been one of the best venues for college baseball. Texas battled those teams in Omaha in 1981 and in Austin at a Regional in 1983, when the Horns had to come out of the loser's bracket and beat them twice to win it. Texas went on to win the title in Omaha in 1983. I was fortunate enough to get to see all those games in Austin and in Omaha. Got to know Will Clark and his dad who were from New Orleans. Their bat girls were smoking hot, got to know them and one girl who was the daughter of one of DKR's main assistant coaches Charlie Shira. When Texas won the national championship in 1963, she was born the week of the OU game. Team dedicated the game to her and when they won, they gave the team ball to Coach Shira for her. She still has it. Her dad Coach Shira died from cancer, and they named some facilities at MSU after him. When Texas won the SWC title in 1981 in football, she called me and asked if I wanted to go to the Cotton Bowl game against Alabama. We went and her connections got us seats right on the fifty-yard line. Texas beat Alabama 14-12, the most memorable play being the "quarterback draw" by Brewer, after he saw the defense and called a time out. Thirty yards untouched up the middle for the score. Good times back then
  15. Nice play, first SEC win. It just means more now.
  16. Farmer had a shot at it.
  17. I can see him facing the lefty hitter, that makes sense.
  18. Didn't even have Burns warming up. A lot to put on the Freshman, hope he comes through.
  19. Not surprised to see Dre still out there.
  20. Take your time third base, and then throw it into the ground, he may have beat the throw anyway.
  21. Dre is certainly a different look for MSU after seeing all the high velocity fastballs and sliders from Spencer. Kind of tempted to leave him out there till he gives up a base runner. I bet Burns is up in the pen, if he is already heated up, they may bring him in.
  22. Ground ball outs are very welcome. Good inning Dre, give us one more and I guess Burns gets the ninth.
  23. Hitting is still contagious.
  24. Galvan did try to sacrifice bunt. 😃
  25. Galvan another liner for a dinger. This is how you hit.
