  1. I was on that trip with Hunnert, Wilson, and a couple of other people. We were coming home from Omaha, where Texas had just won the national championship. The better line that Hunnert had for that woman was when she came up to him and told him that he had ruined her car. Hunnert was pumping gas and after the usual pause he came out with one of his one word classic answers. He just looked at her and said, "sorry."
  2. I have wondered about this. I don't know if it could be done while he is still alive or not. I know it's a stretch, but it would be a great help to the family if Scott could be brought back to Austin by plane. It certainly wouldn't knock a hole in the athletic budget if UT sent him and his sister back to Austin by a private jet. It would cost quite a bit to have the body sent back to Austin by a hearse
  3. Sis has just posted this update a few minutes ago and sadly this is true. 10/28 Sis here Scott Wilson has been moved to hospice within the UF Health hospital. He has been spiraling down over the last 2 weeks. His condition is such that he would never get out to see another game. I prefer each and every one of you to remember him in his heathy state, at a game or in the stands, or at a tailgate with a beer in his hands. Our immediate family is gathering and we ask for peace and privacy.
  4. Most of that Barstool stuff are just people playing bits and roles to get clicks and eyeballs. Portnoy is the puppet master behind and sometimes in front of the curtain of the puppets. Love it or hate it he is making a small fortune doing it while it lasts.
  5. Dizzy Dean said slud all the time when he announced baseball.
  6. Bolden was good, didn't get many attempts.
  7. Is that that Brandon Walker dude from Barstool? He's a big MSU guy and talked shit about beating Texas all week.
  8. It sure beats losing.
  9. Dropping 7 and rushing four wasn't working, they still got receivers wide open.
  10. Mosley with a great catch.
  11. The Miracle in the Delta!
  12. Would they keep trying to renovate Disch-Falk or would there be a completely new stadium? Which brings up again where would the new stadium be located and where would the Horns play till the completion of the new place was finished. Is Round Rock an option?

Sark will never let go of the play calling unless an ultimatum comes from the big boys in Bellmont and the big cigars. He keeps saying that he was hired to be the OC as well as head coach. He will have to be forced to let that go.
  14. This is the latest update from this afternoon. Good morning, Sis here 10/19 update Scott is improving very slowly. He is worked off sedation. He smiles and nods and seems to recognize people. So thankful for LeBarron Johnson and his Mom Katina for stopping by. It seems as he improves in one area, other parts need checking out. We are grateful for all the gifts given to support our housing while I am here with him. Hook’em Horns.
  15. Ash was the Roger Staubach of college football, with all the concussions. I don't know how the guy didn't get paralyzed from them.
  16. I get it just fine and we have lots of depth on defense. Kentucky did make plays on offense and had long drives.
  17. Kentucky had long drives that gave them all that possession time, you stop them and you get off the field.
  18. Elite defenses don't get pushed around by Kentucky.
  19. I guess Bama is dogshit too, you think we could even stay close against Bama on the road this season. I don't.
  20. Everybody plans for Pavia, but only Bama has beaten him and that was close at home for the Tide. LSU was supposed to have an elite defense and could barely even slow Vandy down.
  21. I think I would be really worried about Vandy if I was Texas. If the Kentucky guy can move the ball and escape the pass rush. Think what Pavia and company will do.
  22. Then Wisner gets hurt and you have no running game at all.
  23. Arch has not played well at all, but he doesn't make Moore run out of bounds to keep Texas from running the clock down and kicking the winning field goal. He also didn't hold on the first play after stopping UK on downs on their possession in overtime. That kind of stupidity just makes me lose brain cells.
  24. It's bad enough to play like a high school team, but then add in the football IQ of this team in big situations that is like a small child.
