David Gbenda got a Michigan offer.

If anyone needs a refresher on how this asshole undermines our program - originally written by our benevolent dictator:
I'm not sure why Chip felt the need to do a hit piece on UT the day before signing day but he did. Not only did it get corrected, it cost us at least one recruit.
These paragraphs were later removed to due a threat of a lawsuit from the Buechele's:
According to sources, Buechele’s parents aren’t crazy about the way Herman is running the program - even thinking Shane would be better off playing baseball. According to sources, Steve Buechele has told other parents of players the way the coaches are coming down so hard on the players with everything from constantly having to pass hydration tests to cleaning the weight room at 4:30 am as punishment to eating burnt breakfasts for being on the losing team at practice, he doesn’t think players are enjoying the game they love - especially when the team is 6-6.
According to sources, Steve Buechele, a bench coach with the Texas Rangers, has told other parents UT coaches are running the program harder and with less feeling than the Rangers run spring training - adding the Rangers get paid, while UT football players don’t.The rest of the article stunk of sour grapes from a disgruntled parent or two.
Nik Bonitto, a OLB prospect out of Florida showed up from nowhere this week, getting multiple people predicting he'd end up at Texas. Later that day Chip's piece came out, OU coaches showed it to him, and now he's likely to sign with OU.
So Chip, you can go $#@! yourself. The timing of this was not an accident, and your article about Orlando going to SMU was complete bull$#@! as well and designed to hurt the program.
I encourage all UT fans to cancel their 24/7 subscriptions, and please inform any of your friends or family who subscribe there about this and encourage them to cancel as well. It's one thing to vote for Reggie Bush for Heisman, but another to actively torpedo the program. Congrats Chip, you're the UT Taylor Hamm.
edit:
as if you needed more evidence Brown is a complete shill for some people, here's some of his greatest hits:

Deserves his own thread. Hopefully he's the one to take UT athletics back to where they should be.
Would recommend following his Twitter if you're in that sphere; he's very active in responding to fans.

Should be very competitive at the top this year, with Alabama and Clemson taking big classes.

11) 6figs WRTS article. Texas ended up with a better recruiting class the next two years.

"Lets face it, whether or not you agree with the Aggies’ new catchphrase, you can’t argue the rankings since Kevin Sumlin arrived to College Station. In two full recruiting cycles as head coach, Sumlin has finished with the highest ranked recruiting class in the Lone Star State. Whether or not these blue-chip prospects help A&M win more games this upcoming season is yet to be determined. But one thing is for certain, these current 2015 and 2016 commitments, these future Texas Aggies, will “Run This State” under the lights on Friday nights."
"Perhaps the most damning proof that Texas A&M in fact runs the state of Texas in recruiting, can be summed up with the commitments of George Ranch DE Kingsley Keke and Sulphur Springs safety Larry Pryor. Both standout defensive prospects grew up die-hard Texas Longhorn fans. They were also top targets for Mack Brown and his successor Charlie Strong." -
10) 6figs writes a WRTS article, 2 hours later Tyrie Cleveland decommits from A&M.

9) Hamm pisses off Gigem247 subscribers because he starts deleting threads related to the Rockets after he predicts them to win the championship.

8) 6figs flip flopping on Martell. Says "Ehlinger is no Martell". Months later Hamm infers that Martell is too small to play in the SEC (when Martell is visiting Ohio State of course).

7) Texas A&M media representative rips 6figs on CFB Reddit.

6) Taylor Hamm refuses to switch his crystal ball on Jeffrey McCulloch until the last second.
