  1. And if you don’t believe the rest of us, here’s Matthew Macfadyen on Shiv’s decision-

Shiv did not plan anything with Tom and she 100% did it because she can’t stand Ken winning.

  2. lol Shiv and Tom didn’t plan shit

She called him a motherfucker TO HIS FACE less than 12 hours before the board vote and was whipping votes for Kendall right up until the meeting.

She reverted back to her mean when she realized she was the tiebreaker and had Kendall’s dick in her hand.

She’d rather ride the coattails of a powerful man and turn into her mother than give Kendall any power.

Shiv didn’t make a play for power (Tom has the power now) - she has power with her vote and used it to poke her brother in the eye.

She was going to lose so she chose the man she hated the least.

  3. I didn't know this about Bob Hope

Huh. I interviewed Bob Hope in the 5th grade.

He came to Tallahassee to perform a stand up show for FSU’s homecoming week.

Three of us were “studying” journalism in our gifted program that was run by FSU.

Our elementary school was named Sealey, so we gave him a school sweatshirt. It was ginormous. He asked if we also made mattresses.

    We didn’t get the joke.

His positions on gay rights and guns didn’t come up in the interview but he’s the only big celebrity I have a cool story about.

I wore a navy blazer and maroon culottes lol. Very Barbara Walters.

  4. Jeremy Strong literally shaving away the character of Kendall Roy.

Seems fitting that the last scene they filmed was the “Meal Fit For A King” scene - what could’ve been if they hadn’t been fucked up by their parents from birth.

  5. I hated the ending but it actually makes the most sense.

Roman never wanted it, he just pretended to want it it to please his father. Once his father was gone, he could finally admit that and let it go.

Shiv spent her whole life trying to convince everyone - and herself - that she was Logan reincarnated. But when it came down to it, she is, and always has been, exactly like her mother. She’ll be yelling at her kid one dawn for fucking with Tom’s cheese.

Kendall was Logan’s broken vessel. He poured into him all his lightness and darkness. He could be good when he embraced the lightness but the darkness was too powerful.

And Tom - was the most like Logan, not in personality but naked ambition.

My problem was the pacing. Killing off Logan was the right decision - cramming ALL that subsequently happened into seven episodes? Made a lot of big moments/character decisions feel out of nowhere or unearned. Could have used another season.

I’m both satisfied and unsatisfied, thrilled and disappointed. So perfect ending for this show but it still feels frustrating.

  7. The fastest way to force progress would be a campaign of black men legally openly carrying AR-15s or similar weapons near and around right wing evangelical churches on Sunday mornings.
But of course, from what I understand, black men don't like dying so that's not really feasible.

That’s what the Black Panthers did in California when Reagan was governor.

And he supported gun control laws because of it.
