I think OU is actually averaging more yards rushing YTD in 2018 than they did in 2017.
Its probably because Rodney Anderson did not establish himself until the second half of the season and they did play a much better schedule including the eventual B1G champions tOSU.

It was. For those curious, there is only one year since Texas' first draft selection (1939) where a UT player was not drafted.
2014.
I guess that class came to play school.

Duvernay, Collin Johnson and LJH will beat Motley, Radley-Hiles and Norwood like a rented mule, if Sam will just be half ass accurate.
Yeah, OU has 3 Boyds on their team. Only, not as athletic AND coached by Mike Stoops.

Given that Oklahoma has 35(out of 100+) players from Texas, I'd add them to this list and it doesn't look as bad:
# 7. Oklahoma
#20. Texas
#29. Texas Tech
#33. TCU
#41. Texas A&M
#45. North Texas
#52. Houston
#64. Baylor
#97. SMU
#122. UTSA
#126. Rice
#129. Texas St.
#130. UTEP

We aren't winning if the homunculus is comfortable in the pocket.
I doubt he's going to be comfortable in there given OU's O line issues this year. This is where they miss Rodney Anderson the most, he was also a prolific in pass protection. Although Sermon isn't half bad either.

Sermon is a beast, so open field tackling is going to be crucial. I think the game comes down to how well our DBs can cover down the field and if our edge rushers can contain Murray in the pocket. And like every RRS, whoever wins the turnover battle wins the war.
I think this is the critical battle right here because Texas will want to see if Kyler Murray can pass so being able to stop the run with 4 or 5 lineman/LBs is doable. OU's Offensive line hasn't looked as good as last year.

Hotter women, better food, better schools, better cities, smarter people, better... you know what, fuck it. Just better everything.
Uh, you left the best thing about Texas over Oklahoma. No state income taxes.

Given that OU lost Rodney Anderson, I feel like Texas may have an advantage here against a slow Trey Sermon or their other new running backs. What do other posters think about this matchup?
What other areas, do you think Texas may have an advantage or a disadvantage?

I don't think Davis would look any better if he had to go against the opposition's number 1 WR.
And although I expect Cook and Green to be really, really good in the next year or two, they have next to no experience. I do think we should let them play more against the likes of Baylor, assuming we can take care of business.
I'd argue that Lamb is OU's No.1 receiver.

Good News: Got away with a hold.
Bad News: Still gave up a sack.

According to your very own stated criteria, we do know who's better in the NFL...
Mahomes 2-0
Mafiield 1-0-1
and until the Browns win more games than the Chiefs, Pat will remain the better NFL QB
Thats not my criteria, one of the key variables has to be completion of that career. College career is done, NFL is on going, just started actually.
Try again.

It is not a chess match. Mayfield did not play against Mahomes exclusively; it is a team effort.
For me the win/loss record of a QB or pitcher is a debatable subject.
Fair enough. But to claim that one guy who convincingly has a better record when it comes to wins, completion percentage, championships, TDs, all delivered under more pressure than some middle of the road program like Tceh is worse than the QB at Tceh.
In college, there is no question Baker was better than Mahomes. NFL? We don't know yet.

Mahomes never quit on his team. He also never got hammered by a fat donut muncher in civies.
Hypeman doesn't mean shit.
Being drafted by Cleveland vs the Kansas City organization? LOLz.
You trollin your ass off. Lay down in your chuckwagon hat and sleep it off bro...
A lot of words, and yet an empty meaningless post. Much like Mahomes' trophy case or career at Tceh.
One day you will be relevant, one day. Ah who am I kidding. No you won't.

It was on a different guy, which would've resulted into a safety. Texas got away
