  1. This is of course all anecdotal, but as soon as Brevard committed to us yesterday, all his old teammates and coaches were celebrating him and congratulating him on twitter. I love to see that. Really solidifies the whole “we’re not just taking anyone, they have to be a culture fit too.” Feels good to not be too caught up in the Bear Alexander’s of the world.
  2. If nothing else it gives them a reason to say “we’re so close! Look at how talented we are.” if nothing else the stars are hope for them.
  3. Dollars. He’s miles above anything on their secondary but doesn’t turn his head. Dude wanted to cash in early.
  4. The cost of being on mobile
  5. Appreciate the spoiler. Just reposting in plain text for the dark mode users.
  6. Locking up that guy with Barion Brown in one day can't have been cheap. Need an audit on all local child healthcare facilities in the greater Baton Rouge area.
  7. Oh, could be. I didn't see they announced the Arky LB was visiting but I didn't wake up till 2pm so i'll take the L here.
  8. Quite the character to quote, especially in a thread where people are getting Voluntold for handy's for DT's. Reek's of a setup.
  9. Not even you could be negative about that. Though how do you feel about giving Helobious a "helping hand" ?
  10. Ah, the ol' Clemson approach. Venables is stealing Dabo's playbook!
  11. There’s 3-5 names I think that are being enticed to the portal. The Purdue DT imo is either due diligence or a pleasant surprise.
  12. I generally agree with this, but if a player has production at multiple stops, I think it’s known and understood that they’re a rental. Coleman may be looking for his 4th stop but he did pretty ok on a gimpy miss state offense. He’s the type I’d be ok with adding the the room because we have a ton of good younger players but may need a stop gap depending on Golden leaving.
  13. Not for us, but pretty major playoff implications, no?
  14. NSIAP but it sounded like Bobby said we're going for the Utah punter in the portal? "Circle this name," was the verbiage used. https://www.espn.com/college-football/player/_/id/4426752/jack-bouwmeester https://utahutes.com/sports/football/roster/jack-bouwmeester/15353 Said he's averaging about 47 yard yards per punt. Pro-Kick alum
  15. I think more importantly than how highly touted the recruits are or were that are leaving, but the Aggies have lost 2/5 of their starting O-Line from this year. Though I think Shanahan got injured halfway through the year? Anyway, a bad room gets even worse for them and I love it.
