  1. This was Pete's learning experience against the veer-and-shoot. We all know it well and how to defend it. Shit, Strong was actually decent against it when he was here. The defense didn't get any help from the offense and might've held up ok if we made it a shootout, but the defensive strategy and gameplan wasn't ideal.

The bright side is no one runs it in the conference anymore and Pete's more adept defending air raid and passing spread teams. If Tech gives us trouble, light a cigarette for the conference firing squad.

The second half he missed a bunch of deep stuff, some of which was open (none of which would have changed the outcome of this game)

False. If those shots were completed it would've opened up the offense and pulled the momentum from Arkansas and the crowd.

Pretty sure that isn't the old Mizzou poster.  The old Mizzou is still here (under a new name), still posting voluminously, and still the professional muleheaded contrarian.

Oh in that case, wherever he is:

Futureman turned out to be right, so yes. I don’t see this move happening, the other Big 12 would never allow it as it would be the end of them, it doesn’t make sense for the SEC, and there’s political hurdles to clear as well.

Yeah, it's not a Texas school, but if programs like Kansas start making the preemptive move out of the conference, it's just another nail in the coffin for the Big 12 and our move to the SEC.

Would expedite the conference demise and get us off the hook for any financial penalties
