Good offense should consist of more than trying to snap the ball as quickly as possible and hopefully catching the defense slightly out of alignment due to the fact that they only have 5 seconds to line up.

Every offense consists of trying to catch the defense slightly out of alignment unless you’re talking about one that features Bronco Nagurski taking handoff after handoff right up the middle. The high tempo offense is one strategy for doing so.

don't like it. players that are legitimately shaken up or hobbled should be able to come back in one or two plays if they can. not worth fixing one problem to create another.

Maybe players who are “legitimately shaken up or hobbled” don’t need to come back in after one or two plays against a high tempo offense. If a player is legitimately hurt, how can the training staff make a proper assessment in one play?

OSU is not firing Gundy. We’re going bowling for the 13th straight year.
Also, Holder won 25 conference championships and eight national championships as a head coach. I’m pretty sure that he’s “coached in the big time.”

That's golf and T Boones big arm goes all the way up Holders ass to his mouth. I'd be weary of an old guy with lots of.money and an ego to stroke.

Mike Gundy is finishing up his 14th season coaching at Ok State. Forgive me if I forget to panic over this possibility.

Gundy also went 4-7 his first year, then 7-6, 7-6, 9-4. So in first 4 years at OSU, Miles was 28-21 and Gundy was 27-23.

Gundy had to throw so many of the players that Miles brought in off the team that he (Gundy) was essentially starting from scratch.

Prentiss Elliott was a gang member, FFS.

Osu firing Gundy would be a bigger mistake than Kansas and Mangino. That’s exactly how you start a death spiral. Fire the coach who gave you everything. Tell the whole coaching community that you don’t care about anything but having the program run exactly how the AD wants it run. Seems to me that has worked 1 time in the last 50 years and that is with Barry Alvarez at wiscy. The only reason it works is because Barry isn’t above going down on the sideline and making it work himself if someone gets off track. Hilarious to see these AD’s demand their way when they have never coached in the big time.

De-cleating an opponent is completely unnecessary in executing an effective block or tackle.  It serves no purpose other than to injure an opponent and gain high fives from teammates and oohs and aahs from the crowd.  It should not be taught or encouraged at any level.  It’s going to kill the game.

You’re the voice of reason here. Just because he can legally make this hit doesn’t mean that he should. That starts with coaching.

LSU also lost a starting defensive lineman and one of their starting corners to injury.

LSU’s offensive line is also weak, and Joe Burrows is too slow in his decision making.

Better job than a lot of other places..... Not familiar with their AD though.

Will be interesting to see who the Buffalo's target.... Maybe Bryan Harsin or Mike Gundy??

Mike Gundy has turned down Tennessee twice, Florida, Arkansas, and Baylor. Unless Colorado just enjoys being told no, they’re not targeting Mike Gundy.

I hate stories like this one:  https://www.foxnews.com/us/woolsey-fire-destroys-australian-directors-home-burns-savings-kept-in-fire-proof-safe

"Hollywood" couple loses their house to the CA fires.  I feel for anyone that loses their home.  The fire is 100% not their fault and it must be torture to lose personal items that money can't replace the memories.  But because they weren't fully insured, they are asking for people to give them $100K to restore their savings and home.

Their decision to not get insurance now becomes everyone else's problem.

Is there any proof that the “savings” even existed?

If you had lost to an overpowering opponent, I wouldn't have said a word.  You started this stupid shit when you said Nebraska shouldn't have been added to the B1G without checking the records first.  I get it, you assumed hey, Nebraska has been so shitty for so long that MSU must have beaten them in every game.....

    Always check the records.

I kind of knew when you posted that shit earlier in the week, that #karma was gonna show up once again.  Huge historical cock choking Dantonio motherfucker....he is reliable no doubt.

Holy shit. STFU. You won a pillow fight against a shitty team.

Nebraska has been irrelevant for so long that I don’t even know that they played today. You’re like Wyoming, but a big conference is stuck with you.

I'm really surprised they gave them this prime time slot.  Maybe they are checking to see how many people will actually watch UCF?

If they get good numbers, maybe UCF gets a little more consideration.   Of course they have to win the game...

They’ll be fine. They know how to go undefeated and win conference championships.
