I take issue with that statement.
Our losses under Quinn:
Bama 22 - I will give him a pass here. He was cooking and then got injured. Most likely a win if he doesnt get injured.
Oklahoma State 22- Not more talented than us. He played very poorly. 3 INT
TCU 22- Not more talented than us. He played poorly. 1 INT
Washington 22- About equal to us in talent. Quinn played above average, there were some bad drops.
OU 23- Inferior Talent and we lost. He played poorly. 2 INT and a lost fumble
Washington 23- Equal talent. Had multiple chances from the 10 yard line and couldnt get it done.
UGA 24 (2)- Equal talent. Both games he didnt play well, combined for 3 INT and a lost fumble.
OSU 24- The only team with a talent edge over us that we played in his entire era (and it was a slight edge). He played above average. But couldnt get it done.
His legacy would look much different if he couldve gotten it done in the playoffs. But he didnt. And that is the difference between your name going up in the stadium and just being another QB who played at UT.
