A&M: “LSU is our rival and they respect our rivalry. It’s a national rivalry like tu/ou”

Yeah, it's a hell of a rivalry (Not): 58 games, 35-23-3, LSU; LSU won the only two bowl games, and 9 of the last 12 meetings. Fuckabuncha "national."

    Now, Texas-ou--that's a rivalry: 119 games, 63-51-5, Longhorns.

And lest we forget, Texas-aggy: 76-37-5 Longhorns. And lest we forget again, aggy ran away from us, just like they ran away from the 2022 Gator Bowl. Now, they're saying, "Well,  LSU's our real rival." Yeah, right. What a bunch of cowardly pussies.

Well, guess what, Marvin? AI's here and now you can't even believe half of what you see (although it'd sure be cool if this was real).

Seriously, I get your point. But the problem appears to be that we are less than elite in terms of players, which makes it difficult to get to the top, even with excellent coaching, which also seems to be less than elite.

Funny true story: I used to work in NY at an ad agency with a copywriter who had previously worked for David Mamet's company. Super-funny guy. He was tasked with writing the David Mamet office Christmas party invitation. He wrote it in the exact cadence and style of David Mamet's plays, with lots of repetition, short sentences, etc. David Mamet fired him the same day, haha.

Apparently, Christmas party invitations are for closers, too.

Surly Horns used to be all about changing the world. Now since @immamac brought in the consultants, it's all "more posts, more engagement, more posts, more engagement." First they cut my salary in half and eliminated my benefits. Now, my manager is a 24-year old, snot-nosed kid who uses buzzwords I don't even understand.

Put that coffee down! Coffee's for closers only. You think I'm fucking with you? I am not fucking with you! You see this watch? You see the watch I'm wearin'? This watch costs more than your car.

We can shit on these Big Ten games all we want, but when two big land grant schools play each other they’re going to get a respectable number. They’ve been playing football for 120+ years, and have hundreds of thousands of living alumni.

This is what FOX is paying for.

Well, if you call Iowa and Wisconsin and most of the rest of the b1g in the winter living . . .

I shouldn't pick on Wisconsin. Summers in Wisconsin are glorious. Last year it was Wednesday.

I listened to the induction podcast.

So, Grant Teaff is involved with the TSHOF, in Waco, and was in attendance. Know how sometimes, a coach speaking in a rival’s town, will tell self-deprecating stories of being beaten by the hosts? I have heard Royal and Brown do that a few times. It shows class and self-confidence to praise an old foe while being honored by them.

Would you be surprised to hear Jackie didn’t do that? He gave a shout out to Teaff, in the audience, and then told a story of how he countered a Teaff motivational ploy before a game with a better one by him (Sherrill), and won the game.

Sherrill is a weird fucked-up dude.

How old are y’all complaining about the heat to watch Texas football ?? I’m old and poor.  I’d watch Texas football in a space suit on the moon if I could afford it.

I used to like Pate before really paying attention to his schtick. He is 100% full of shit. He pumps ATM for clicks more than anyone else that isn't affiliated to the university. His stuff before each of the last two seasons was slobbering the knob of Jimbo and the sleeping giant bullshit.

He does shit like that all of the time. Zero analysis, just spewing nonsense. Go back to March of this year and listen to his takes on the spring portal. In retrospect, they are fucking hilariously wrong. "Several unsuspecting rosters are going to get absolutely gutted by the portal in a few days/weeks, my friends."

He reminds me now of this huckster who used to run infomercials and write books about things "they don't want you to know about" and idiots would eat it up. I think that clown ultimately went to prison for fraud. Pate's a CFB version of that dude. He's got multiple insiders in every program and he always knows more than "they" want him to know about each program.

Kevin Mark Trudeau (Would have made a great aggy. Hell, he might be one, for all I know.): In 1990 Trudeau was accused of posing as a doctor to deposit $80,000 in false checks, and in 1991 he pleaded guilty to larceny.  That year he also faced federal charges of credit card fraud, based on an allegation that he stole the names and Social Security numbers of customers of a mega memory product and charged more than $122,000 on their credit cards.  He was convicted and spent two years in federal prison. . . . Trudeau was sentenced to 10 years in prison for not paying the $37 million in fines. During the sentencing hearing, the federal judge described Trudeau as a habitual fraudster from his early adulthood, called him “deceitful to the very core,” (the judge obviously misspelled "corps") and said that Trudeau had thumbed his nose at the justice system by violating multiple court orders since the 1990s.

Wonder if anybody can find proof that Trudeau changed his name to Liucci about 6 or 8 years ago?

There is no bottom to their patheticness.

(I know that's not a word, but aggy makes the concept real.)

They put "ain't" and "alright" in respected major dictionaries because cretins who use them didn't know any better, or care. Why wouldn't we put patheticness in there too? (Provided it's accompanied by a picture of aggy.)
