  1. The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay (Been in development for years but nothing seems to come of it)

    Ellroy's The Big Nowhere and White Jazz.  True Detective season 2 borrowed/stole rather liberally from The Big Nowhere but I'd like to see it get a full on adaptation.  While we're at it, I'd like to see someone do a Black Dahlia adaptation that isn't a steaming pile of vomit.

    The First Law trilogy would make a good TV series. 

     

  2. Network TV does almost nothing but cater to Midwestern Rubes.  The 50 or so iterations of CSI/Law and Order/Police Cops are tidy hour long procedurals where knight in shining armor law enforcement officials get their man by the end of the show and there is no moral ambiguity to be found.  

  3. TCM is fine even post-Osborne.  Noir Alley kicks ass.  TCM Underground puts solid genre/exploitation stuff out there.  They give us a steady diet of classic warhorses and enough of the lower tier stuff is interesting.
