I unsubscribed to all the emails.  It worked.  But literally just got this SMS:

Hi Professor Sexy Man! This is Emily from UT Austin. 40 Hours for the Forty Acres, UT's day of giving, started yesterday! Your support can help UT programs thrive, adapt & grow. Can we count on your support before time runs out?

    Should I ask for nudes?

Well shit, I thought I was special from Emily.

I’m the guy sitting on cash after moving a bunch of things around. My guy at Morgan wants to begin staggered entry in big cuts at the next 10% correction, but I’m weighing sitting the whole thing out until next year. It feels like we’re headed for a shitstorm and I like the feel of my umbrella...

Realize I’m missing out on a good amount of profits, but I want to be in a good position when/if this blows up. Am I crazy?

i have been this person for the past 1.5 yrs. FUUUUUCK MEEEEEEEEEEEE

  4. I want to see this police write-up.

“Suspect physically assaulted multiple officers and started to reach for a potential weapon in the car so we took decisive action to protect women and children near by....”

If nothing had changed about the house, yes, I think that would be fair and legally justified.

The remodel, though, may be a game-changer.  From a technical perspective, it may have changed the loading on the piers.  From a smokescreen perspective, they are going to pretend that it did whether it did or not and you may have to get very surly with them to get anything out of it.

they did foundation work for the remodel too.

  6. Bought a house 3-years ago. Had Quality Foundation in Austin do an assessment and took their full recommendation on what needs to be fixed on the foundation. It is pier and beam so was a fairly straight forward job it seemed.

Started to do a full remodel a year a go and moved in just a few months ago. House within a week had huge cracks in the walls. I had the original foundation company out again, and they recommend new work saying there is about the same level of work as the original bid as there are additional piers that are failing. Am I wrong to expect them to do this work for free or at cost as they did the original assessment and I now significant have wall / roof damage because the original job wasn't complete enough to keep the house stable?

There is likely material damage and cost to the walls from the foundation shifting.

Woke up early to bbq. Took last night off so I'd be fresh and ready for all day drunken bbq-thon. Of course that summoned the rain gods so now I drink on the patio. It will be an all day drunkathon instead.
