Off the top of my head, the list would be shrunk by Okie State and Minnesota, at least. Not sure about any others.

Hal?
The operating system was assembly language, which is what I did. The rest of the flight computer code was HAL/S. There was other hardware that had their own language, but that stuff rarely changed after it was initially designed. I didn't join the project until '84, so all the big challenges of coming up with the original design was already done.

Here's the link to the 2025 tab of the depth chart: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TzoBTIvCXfZIk7Sz3C9txMg0yPvrXyVM/edit?gid=1658728281#gid=1658728281
Here's an explanation of the tabs:
2025 - Depth chart based on remaining eligibility. Players in italics are expected attrition (portal or NFL). As players enter the portal or declare for the draft, then they will be deleted.
2024 - I'll continue to update this through the end of the season. Players entering the portal will remain in this sheet so we can see how the depth was affected. Portal entries are color coded per the legend at the top of the sheet.
Texas by Class - Shows the player data of each signing class since 2017. The source is 247 composite. I track current status such as Roster, Transfer, NFL, Graduated (a career other than sports), Medical retirement, etc.
Texas Grid - Shows players by their signing class rather than by remaining eligibility. Also has their 247 composite rating so that the average rating for the offense, defense, and team can be calculated. Also shows the blue chip ratio.
Aggie by Class - Same as Texas by Class, but for A&M.
Aggie Grid - Similar to Texas Grid, but for A&M. The difference is that the portal entries remain on this sheet through the Spring so that we can see how many players left.
2023 - 2011 - End of season depth charts for past Texas teams.

I added a 2025 tab to the depth chart spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TzoBTIvCXfZIk7Sz3C9txMg0yPvrXyVM/edit?gid=1658728281#gid=1658728281
Those that are projected by Surly to declare for the NFL or portal are italicized, although when there's not a consensus, I'll assume they're returning.
I also updated the Texas Grid and Aggie Grid tabs which shows athletes by signing class rather than by remaining eligibility, along with their 247 composite rating (transfers get their transfer rating, no their HS rating). The Blue Chip Ratio is at the bottom of those tabs. Names are removed once they state they are entering the portal or declaring for the draft (i.e., no speculation for these tabs).

Posted this just now in the aggie recruiting thread, but here's some more and a miscount somewhere:
Looking back at The Greatest Recruiting Class of All-Time, HOLLAAAA!!!!:
Walter Nolen - gone
Evan Stewart - gone
LT Overton - gone
Denver Harris - gone
Jacoby Mathews - gone
Anthony Lucas - gone
PJ Williams - gone
Jake Johnson - gone
Smoke Bouie - gone
Marquis Groves-Killebrew - gone
Chris Marshall - gone
Bobby Taylor - gone
Ish Harris - gone
Ethan Moczulski - gone
Shemar Stewart - stayed - draft pick
Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy - stayed -bust, rumored to be leaving in winter 2024 window
Conner Weigman - stayed - bust, rumored to be leaving in winter 2024 window
Enai White - stayed - bust, rumored to be leaving in winter 2024 window
Bryce Anderson - stayed
Kam Dewberry - stayed - dude had one snap on Saturday
Le'Veon Moss - stayed
Malick Sylla - stayed - 60 snaps this season
Donovan Green - stayed -got fat and slow after being hurt, getting married. rumored to be leaving in winter 2024 window
Hunter Erb - stayed - 11 snaps this season
Martrell Harris - stayed? - Zero snaps this season. Maybe he left?
Theo Melin Ohrstrom - stayed
Jadon Scarlett - stayed - 8 snaps all year
Jarred Kerr - stayed - 35 snaps all year
Noah Thomas - stayed
Mark Nabou - stayed
14/30 gone with more leaving shortly. Moss, Nabou, Ohrstrom, Anderson, Thomas are the only true producers to have stuck it out. Anderson was a borderline 5 star and now might not be drafted. The others were mid-to-bottom of the class and have outshined the heralded highly ranked guys. This is the kind of class that destroys a program.
I included the 2 transfers (Max Johnson, Micaiah Overton) who are both gone.

search sucks - can someone repost the ctj rundown on the 2022 class that he posted earlier this year? i'm thinking june? @closetojumping do you have this handy? or do you remember the % of the 22 class that was already gone before august camp this year?
@closetojumping already answered this (50%), but here are some details. This link (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TzoBTIvCXfZIk7Sz3C9txMg0yPvrXyVM/edit?gid=1682239859#gid=1682239859) has an Aggie by Class tab which lists every signee since 2017 and where they ended their careers. There's also a Texas by Class tab. 16 of 32 signees from 2022 are no longer on the A&M roster.

Wow. Who is "Coach Glove" talking about, at A&M?
Coach Glove is Deon Glover. His son is Tony Grimes. Maybe A&M saw how poorly Tony played in 2023 Spring ball and decided not to pay. He transferred to UNLV in 2024.

Sarkisian mentioned that he’d been holding the edge against the run and that teams are going to have to try something different. I inferred that he felt like that would provide even more opportunities.
Not too bad

According to Wikipedia:
The Lone Star Showdown is the traditional rivalry for all varsity men's and women's athletics competitions between the University of Texas at Austin and Texas A&M University. The State Farm Lone Star Showdown started in 2004 and was created to bring more attention to the rivalry in non-major sports. The Lone Star Showdown trophy was awarded to the winning school each year based on head-to-head matchup in each sport. The final episode of the annual competition occurred during the 2011–12 academic year.
Makes sense to restart this now that we're in the same conference. Probably needed a press conference to give the new sponsor some pub.

Here's what I track based on composite ratings of .90 or higher (I don't track stars). Transfers get their transfer rating, not their HS rating. However, it just shows the rating at NSD (for HS) or on the commitment date (transfers). I don't check the ratings to see if they've been updated. It's not perfect, but it's at least a step in the right direction.

Cross posting for those that missed other threads:
There are a lot of tabs in that file (quoted link) depending on your interest. If you enjoy memory lane, there's a tab for where things stood at the end of each season since 2011. There are Texas by Class and Aggie by Class tabs which shows what happened to every recruit since 2017. The Aggie Grid is an alternative to the depth chart/class style I use for Texas. It shows each recruit by class (rather than remaining eligibility) and their player rating. I don't track depth chart for Aggie since I don't follow them close enough and Ourlads.com does a better job of tracking than I could do. The Roster tab is a dump from the Texas web site and is used by formulas in the 2024 tab to update the jersey numbers. The player positions and depth chart in the 2024 tab is based on what I read on Surly, which includes a lot of speculation. When the season starts, I'll update them based on the official depth chart each week.

“One popular theory is that Cadets from Texas A&M stole the mascot to brand 13 – 0, which was the score the Aggies had won by the year before. Faced with that dilemma some UT student suggested combining the 1 and 3 to create a B, made an E out of the -, added a V, kept the 0 to create BEVO.”
https://www.texasexes.org/about-us/history-and-traditions/truth-about-bevo
tl;dr - The mascot was named Bevo before the 13 - 0 branding. The brand was never changed from 13 - 0 to BEVO. Texas A&M did not steal the mascot.

No one knows THE DEFENSE??? Shouldn't like AT LEAST 55% to 60% of these guys already know this system inside and out since, you know, THEY PLAYED UNDER IT? Some of them for several years. How is the D being unfamiliar with Elko's system even remotely possible?
Elko coached at A&M for the 2018 - 2021 seasons. 63 players that were on the roster during those years transferred, were expelled, or took a medical retirement. 29 of those 63 were on defense. There are only 3 defensive players currently on the roster from Elko's time: Shemar Turner, Albert Regis, and Tyreek Chappell. They were all freshman in 2021.
You can see what happened to every signee since 2017 in the Aggie by Class tab https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TzoBTIvCXfZIk7Sz3C9txMg0yPvrXyVM/edit#gid=1912575733. There's also a Texas by Class tab.

A few observations:
- Aggies are at 62, which is one spot higher than Clemson which has lost 10 players to the portal and has zero commits.
- There are 3 teams ranked higher than A&M that have zero transfers coming in and 7+ transfers going out.
- A&M has the highest outgoing average performance rating of the top 65 teams.
- The average rating of the incoming commits is #33 of 65 teams.
- ON3 is saying that A&M has lost more talent/performance than they've brought in.
ON3 describes their ranking as "On3's Team Transfer Portal Index utilizes the On3 (P)erformance score to measure a team’s production during the transfer process, compared relative against its roster and not a comparison against other schools. This proprietary algorithm determines if a school has improved its overall team talent, stayed the same, or declined in talent during the transfer window."

Looks like I'll need to update it to remove Watts. Not sure who the other safety starter will be. NT will look a lot better with Caldwell as a starter.

We can all rejoice that Max Merril is no longer on the roster (@closetojumping)
The roster is at 81, so plenty of room for more transfers.
