  1. Not anymore. All over secondary now.

I had something smarmy typed up, then I saw an EHTBP 14 get posted for $185. It wasn’t 3 weeks ago I saw them for $275-$350. That’s a pleasant surprise.
  2. Spending the holidays in Blue Ridge, Georgia and came across these. I have plenty of Weller 12 but never had the full proof. There was several Blantons at $149 but I feel like Ive had enough of that to not really desire it anymore. There was also a Four Roses barrel strength for $299. Couple questions….are any of these pictured worth the sticker price, in particular the FR? And if so, is it safe to stuff them in between clothes in my suitcase on the flight back home?

The EHT SmB and SiB are wildly overpriced, but the BP and the Wellers are below secondary. Weird. I might take a swing and see if they’d cut you a deal if you bought an FP and an eht BP. Worst they can say is no
  3. People love to hate Claude Mathis, but his teams come ready at State.

Nobody loves to hate Claude Mathis, but he fumbled more than Jerrick Gibson in his first stint at Desoto. He should have had several titles then and he is the main reason why they didn’t get them.
  4. New recruits typically get sent to Korea for their first rotation. They get wifed then return to Ft Hood.
At least thats how it was 30 years ago.

A long, long time ago I waited tables at a nice steakhouse. We had an Air Force base in town. One night I got a 20-ish person retirement party. All Air Force brothas. Every. Single. One. Had an Asian wife/girlfriend that spoke limited English.

Everyone was paying separate, so I’m having to around and ask who is with who and so on. I get to the fourth or fifth lady and she says to me “the black guy”. I had to collect myself because every guy at the table was black. So I tried to diplomatically narrow down my choices for her date. After several unsuccessful trjes, this very frustrated Asian lady with a very thick accent yells incredibly loud “CHOCOLATE THUNDAA!!”. One head snaps around and she points and says “dat one”.

  5. North Texas HEB’s have rib roast for $5.77/lb. Just picked up a whole one for Christmas Day. I’m leaving Friday for work and will be gone until
Christmas Eve and thinking about rubbing it with Dijon mustard then blasting it with SPG tomorrow and leaving to sit until Christmas morning. Anybody think that would be too long and would produce too salty of a taste?

  6. Sorry for the delay.  They're the same.  I thought I saw the abbreviation was used two different ways so I spelled it out.  Didn't mean to cause more confusion or rustle your jimmies.

When you imply that I don’t know what I’m talking about, it rustles my jimmies. I’ve spent entirely too much time and effort to be good at what I do to not get rustled.
  7. Met a group of aggies at McSorley’s today and they were staying at Bowery Hotel and swore it was the best ever. The loudmouth also wouldn’t stop talking about how much he just paid for his new house, or how he paid for his nieces college tuition because he doesn’t have kids. And that was when I turned to my wife and said this is why people from Texas get a bad rap.

  8. Up close to 2000, heavy upper body workout Monday, light legs Tuesday, blood draw Wednesday. He wants me to keep up the running/walking, go light on weights, increase water, retest next week and he’s going to order specific enzyme tests to try and narrow down what is driving it.

What was your BUN and your alt/ast? It feels like you might have been significantly dehydrated more than anything. With him wanting you to come in for an Iv and a blood draw next week it’s indicative that everything else looks fine (or he’s an idiot) in regards to your cardiac health.
