  1. I’ve interviewed a few hundred folks for jobs. Not once did I ask anyone “so where’s your wife/girlfriend/so on the crazy scale?” I also never asked any “does your wife own a crazyass biting monkey?”.

UT hires a third party and provides a list of names. That third party does the dirty work. By the time names are reported to have interviewed the background is well known. UT does this for deans and provost candidates as well.

  2. Been with mine since 2008 and I’ve never gotten physical with her but if she snatched my reading glasses off my face and smashed them I would definitely have to step out and take a 30 min drive. And snatching the glasses off your husbands face when he is apparently in the guest room to get away from you and avoid escalation then breaking them in front of you is CRAZY. Those that think that’s normal behavior are probably getting dildos shoved in them by their wives on occasion.

But did her dog step on a bee?

  3. Jesus, I'm fucked.  I have grades due at noon today, and I spent the first two hours of the morning reading this thread instead of working on that.  I'm going to be spend the entire week filling out 219 Change-of-Grade forms now.
    Fuck you, Beard!

You still have time. Thursday at 5:01 PM is when you need to start submitting change forms. And remember those route through the dean’s office. You don’t want that.
Edited to say this is the UT deadline. I didn’t know you were at another school.
  4. It's why she makes the big bucks.

$2.3 M so far per latest story

Olivia Dunne signed with WME Sports for representation last August and announced her first exclusive brand partnership with the activewear brand Vuori the following month.

More deals followed with brands such as PlantFuela, a protein and supplements company, Bartleby, a study tool for college students that is owned by Barnes & Noble, TooFaced cosmetics, GrubHub, Madden/EA Sports and American Eagle.
  5. I’m genuinely curious what happens to these guys. I’m not sure what crime was committed but I would expect a big civil suit and for them to lose.

They could be prosecuted under sport fixing laws which is aimed at gambling and fixed/throwing games. “If two or more people agree to intentionally affect the outcome of a sporting event for the purpose of financial gain” or some combo of other fancy words.
