I particularly like that his job title is Bryan Munson.
It’s like he was born for that role.

Trump's ongoing grievance rhetoric doing insurrectionists no favors on detention decisions. https://www.politico.com/news/2021/04/27/trump-rhetoric-capitol-rioters-legal-fight-484787
That’s a great article. Even indicates a Trump appointed judge is using that reasoning.

Lol. This made me google knife fight to see what story I missed. I’m in awe of the self confidence people have when they tweet. gimme 280 characters, and I can convince you a cop literally stopping a murder is in the wrong.

Why do mortgage companies want you to pay off your mortgage early? Every one I’ve had sends me promotional materials that say “with just $300 more per month, you’ll save $X over the life of the loan” or some such.
there is no penalty for paying off early that they get to collect. What do they get out of it?
The answers on here didn’t quite satisfy me so I did some googling. One point an article made was that if you pay off equity quicker and then have financial trouble, a foreclosure ends up being more profitable because the foreclosed asset has that much more equity in it.

Guy goes to Las Vegas, drinks a lot of alcohol, and rolls on ground with sweaty muscular man for half an hour.

Well can't blame the guy since his old man was sending bombs to people.
Still though, his family will always be remembered for the White Sox’s classic stadium.

I thought Damon was awesome as Jason Bourne.
But then I never read the books. How was he mis-cast? Was this like a Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher type thing?
it just changes the character a little. he is described as oddly featureless in the books. it helps him to be anonymous and forgettable. i don't know how you do that in a movie and what that would mean in the real world, but it sounds cool in a book. so they just don't really deal with that in the movie.
still though, hit. those are exciting movies and i think Damon does a good job of showing the regret he has.

There is something deeper going on with the burger lie and stuff like that. I'd wager a great great majority of their viewers don't believe it, and Fox knows that. But they air it anyway. It is some signal of being a part of a group or a call to keep fighting or something. Or maybe it provides comfort that you can count on Fox to have your back even if you express something palpably laughable tooppose the libs. Something like that. that's an interesting point. I think april 1 is the key census date, and the ramp up of NY deaths had started just before that.

Also, that document is a fun read. "N.B.: this is all on the client. The undersigned counsel had nothing to do with this" is a good way to say you're winning this case.

Found this interesting. John Mulaney was making “poor mans image of a rich man” jokes about Trump way back in ‘09.

Outside of Raz al Goul in Batman, Liam Neeson is fucking terribly cast in every action role. His permanently pouty, quizzical look and persona doesn’t match action movies, and rarely match other movies either.
His career arc is funny. Goes from Oskar Schindler to doing Jason Bourne type roles as an old man.

I haven’t seen a good karate movie in forever. This is going to be awesome.
