The Lumpenproletariat angle of scum and villainy is trumpian. You trumpian?
Supporting progressive policies isn't 'Trumpian'. Trump is one of the worst presidents in U.S. history so you're speaking to the wrong guy. I am starting to notice any valid critique of Dems is being labeled as such. Which is oddly a Trumpian tactic.

This is no time for threats. That's unfortunate, but that is reality. AOC and almost all progressives know that. And - progressives do care about making tomorrow better. Priority one is additional help to families and making sure the guardrails hold up in the waning days of trump.
It isn't in either/or. You can do both while removing the dipshit from office. I will say I underestimated how much of whiny bitch he would be if he lost. Do whatever it takes to prevent him from doing more damage, get his ass out, and now let's get to work.

I didn't say they were the same. I don't like it when police shoot unarmed people. That opinion is never going to change regardless of what unarmed person is on the other side of the gun.

Do you know the difference between a police precinct and the US Capitol?
I know both are government buildings and unarmed people shouldn't be shot at them regardless if you agree with their politics or not.

Quiet Jimmy Dore.
I don't watch Jimmy Dore. Kudos to him trying to get people healthcare during a pandemic though and hold politicans accountable on their campaign promises.

Unsourced article from Business Insider has quotes from anonymous European security officials saying that circumstantial evidence points toward a coup. (Yes, I understand how flimsy that sentence reads, but I'm putting it here since we're already speculating.)

Unsourced. Anonymous. Business Insider. Clickbait.
There is so much going on right now with actual sources and evidence why even post this?

Really easy. She leans into the Socialist brand. Now, her flavor is "democratic socialist" and she can try to intellectualize it, but for many in the country, the term "socialism" or "socialist" is a bridge too far, even if we have many policies rooted in socialist theories such as social security or medicare. Then add in her robust criticism of capitalism and you're going to make it easy for some to brand her "radical". She's not really, but most Americans aren't really interested in understanding policy or political theory.
She's also assimilating into status quo neoliberalism. Which is really disappointing.

You aren't gonna find a lot of cop lovers here. But if your dumbass decides to go drunk bama fan from the top ropes up against an area that the secret service is securing to protect the line of succession during a riot in the capitol, and you get your ass shot in the face, you fucked around and found out.
Do you deserve to be shot if you, say, burn down a police precinct?

And here we go
Here we go what? Trump and his sycophants are a disgrace. That doesn't make Biden somehow great. I know this is hard for binary thinkers to process.

I’m looking forward to the shitbags that bailed a year or 2 ago coming back and bitching about Biden’s executive overreach, how’s he doesn’t respect the office, shots at Jill Biden(already happening) after we literally had a hooker as the First Lady for 4 years. Then of course my favorite “THE DEFICIT!!!!!” After Republicans spend their fucking asses off. Pieces of fucking shit
Trump being one of the worst presidents ever doesn't absolve Biden of being a neoliberal corporate clown.

So force a vote right now that we haven't done the groundwork for in a showy grandstand which would accomplish... what? What would happen?
Even Brie admits that it's nothing more than a media stunt.
So we force a vote on a matter without doing any work on it, lose, then... what? What comes after the "starter"?
I'll answer the question for you. What comes after is lobbying/pressure efforts aimed at the Congresspeople who are on the fence. What comes after is trying to secure the votes of the Congressional members before the vote happens and figure out who is against it and needs to be primaried. So what you'll end up doing with some angry, showy grandstand is get "No" votes that could have been "Yes" votes through a more rigorous and patient process.
Jimmy Dore can scream all he wants from his $2M home in Studio City, but him getting upset doesn't make him more credible a proponent of M4A than the Congresspeople who ran on it, campaign for it, believe in it, and are actively working for it.
Talk to YOUR Congressman about it. Talk to on the fence Congresspeople about it. If you honestly believe that AOC and Bernie and the rest wouldn't be ecstatic to bring M4A up as a vote that will win you're just an idiot.
Yawn. If getting a simple tally of who or who does not support healthcare during a pandemic has you this pressed idk what to say. We've tried your way. It doesn't work. I'm done responding to 'progressives' who say 'now is not the time'.
And I don't follow Dore that much but:

Trump; "DO SOMETHING!"
Be more specific with this bolded phrase.
For starters having a M4A vote which AOC literally campaigned on.

Maybe I'm wrong and he's not actually an idiot. Maybe Dore is intentionally deceiving his audience regarding the immense amount of time and work it takes to effect meaningful political change. If that's the case, it means he's interested in personal profit, not political change, and that his goal is to disengage the left from politics so they cannot enact progressive policies, giving him a bigger audience of depressed leftists he can sell more misery to.
Nah, he just wants healthcare and for the people with healthcare to stopping telling the people without healthcare to wait or go bankrupt.

This isn't what we're talking about.
Dore is on the warpath against AOC and the "Squad" because they didn't want to push for an M4A in the house RIGHT NOW RIGHT NOW RIGHT THIS INSTANT!
AOC campaigned on it. Now Dore is using her strategy of making congressman and women 'uncomfortable' to get shit done.

This is fucking stupid.
No, it isn't. And Biden winning will pacify Dems even more. Saw it happen under Obama (who I voted for). His cabinet & voting record all but confirms this. More wars, corporate welfare, medical bankruptcies, expansion of the survelliance state, race to the bottom trade deals, etc., etc. But you'll look the other way because he'll use his pronouns in his Twitter bio and The Cop will give a few woke lectures.

I care more about the message than the messanger. The Dems are basically Bush Era neocons at this point.
