Just watched Elijah Higgins HUDL. No way he doesn't end up at TE. he's so big and already at 215 lbs at age 16-17. Dude has the frame to easily pack 230-240. I just don't see him at WR long term as his body develops.
Herman's slot his last year at Houston was of the same build as Higgins. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I mean... I'm not going to say that TFB called NaNa and Watson last month... But...

National recruit means in and out of state. Texas is part of the nation.

"if Chris Nelson decides to follow some truly awful advice and transfer,"
This is the first non-IT source I've seen mention Nelson potentially transferring. TFB seems to be the most reliable 9.95er so this isn't great news. I truly don't get it. The guy will get to play NT and be a focal point of hte defense. I don't see anyway him transferring gives him a better chance to be drafted. he's not a pass rusher; it's not like Orlando is misusing him. Hopefully he will see the light. I like our DL a lot with him here, without him, we start to look a little thin.
Since I wrote this, I guess I'll respond. He has had the advice given to him. I know that. From people close to the team, I've heard hey expect him to stay. I think he stays as well. I'm just saying if he does leave for whatever reason, Texas is fine. Not saying it happens.

I've been looking for some good thai food recently. I know it's probably not the best thai food, but when I was drunk at Whislers on East 6th, they have a trailer called Thai Kun. I got the waterfall pork because I was drunk and hungry. I didn't realize it is tossed in something called Tiger Cry sauce. Basically, it was so hot and unexpected for drunk me that I had to go get milk, but it was so good that I just kept eating it. I guess if you like spicy go check it out.
I just found out Thai-Kun is East Side King. I’m dumb. Still great.

Yeah. Get your STL style pizza from elsewhere. It’s pretty dang good from the right places.

Hey @OnAComputer at the end of your interview with Mrs. Floyd, am I correct that I heard her say that even though De'Gabriel wants to shut it down she's going to push him to look at 2 other schools closer to home? Not a surprise but it'll be an interesting variable in whether he sticks or not.
It's interesting that she didn't come to Texas on the official visit and instead deferred to her local family...that kid's going to have a tough decision to make closer to signing day.
He hasn’t taken us OV yet and see said she’s going to push him to visit other schools to take full advantage of his recruitment. She doesn’t want him to shut it down just yet. Will be interesting.

Craft beer scene is really good in StL. Can't go wrong w/ anything Urban Chestnut makes. Always bring a bunch back to Texas when I'm up there. Hear their brewery tour/ beer gardens are fantastic.
True. When a large percentage of people worked an Anheuser Bush then you're gonna have some people who learn how to actually make a good beer.

Well, no. Unless I missed it, you left out Charlie Gitto's, so your Italian section is sorely lacking. You also missed Amighetti's, Rigazzi's and Giovanni's.
Props for pointing out Ted Drewe's, which is an awesome way to spend an hour on a summer night (and maybe hang with a few Cardinals baseball players).
I limited myself to not listing every great Italian place on the Hill. There is only so much a person can do. I should put the food tour in there though. My GF and I did it once and it was a fun experience. Go a bit of most things in a few hours.

St Louis style pizza is gross. A good friend of mine from St Louis had IMO’s shipped to Austin for her birthday party and I wondered what we had all done to piss her off.

Imo's is atrocious. It's like the a worse pizza hut

OK, can you stop spamming us with your hot takes on the food scenes in various cities? </skeptical>
Just thought people would enjoy them. No ulterior motive. I know Austin because I live here and I know St. Louis because I lived there. I love showing people around cities, so I created the lists.
St. Louis one was an improvement upon the concept of the Austin one.

I know not many people travel to St. Louis, but if you do, it is actually a wonderful city. The food scene is great with lots of regional cuisine that people fall in love with. There are also a lot of fun things to do that are absolutely free.
I have compiled a list here for those traveling to use if they ever make it to STL.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1x8Pq7GOTTf24wgDjISe6PM0JS5iAd1Kp/view?usp=sharing

I was just in town this past weekend and I found your list very confusing and I have to say it led me astray on more than one occasion. I think it needs some work.
For example, you mentioned a place called Franklins that has the best BBQ in the world. I searched far and wide for this place and was unable to locate it.
I also noticed that you did not include hours in the food truck section. I visited some of these trucks in early morning hours only to find they were closed. On a similar note, you noted that many of these places had Sunday hours. I tried to eat at many of them on Sunday only to find out that they were closed.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll go ahead and fix it.

I’m pretty inexperienced in ramen but haven’t thought anything at Michi comes even close to Tatsuya.
I'm mainly just a fan of the Jungle there. Tatsuya is better, but the line is ridiculous.

I've never been. I literally pass it all the time and think, "man I should go there," and end up not.

I'm trying to figure out how machine learning could improve the smart housing experience. I was thinking about using it with setting tempurature on AC throughout the year.
