I'm certainly not a technical guy, but usually the offense takes longer to get their shit together than the defense. And finally it looks like we have a defense to keep us in the game. Long ball or no long ball, I'll take 15-20 yards every time. Do that 5 or 6 times and our band will be playing.

No. That’s why he wasn’t responsible for the throw. See?Sorry. Misread. That said, I love having a good defense again. When rice was in 3rd and long, I felt confident. Been a while

Sarkisian didn’t throw an ankle-level pass to Sanders when he’d easily have converted the fourth down with even an average pass.
The defense looked like they knew what they were doing and did it well.
Sarkisian was playing QB? Is that legal?

Rice had 27 rushing yards on 25 attempts, 176 yards total.
2 sacks, 2 ints, 3 turnovers total.
A lot of those yards against 3rd teamers.

Both 4th down play calls were easy conversions with execution.
Sanders was wide open for a 1st down if it was a decent throw. A missed block on the other 4th down conversion was why it wasn't successful. Criticize the execution all you want but criticizing the play call is the type stupidity you expect from 6th street.
So, you are for the teams execution?

Murphy isn't going to start no matter how bad Quinn is, unless Quinn gets hurt. So quit getting your hopes up.
Ok. But what about meaningful snaps in a competitive game. Also, folks are saying Murphy is a pure pocket passer. Does that mean he can't run? If I were a DB, I'd rather have ewers coming at me than Murphy. Honestly I don't think he has played enough to see. James brown was supposedly a terrible practice player.

If Murphy is to be our eventual savior, he’s going to have to get that catching snaps thing down first.
Yes. However, he should play. I remember the Vince comparisons when he was recruited. Incredible physical specimen. I'd love to see him in the open field. Obviously, he can pass. Looked like darts yesterday. If neyhor catches that high pass, from my seat it looked like possibly 6. Not high on Ewers. He shits the bed next week, start Murphy against Wyoming.

First game jitters, it's a real thing. If he comes out the same way against Bama you may have a point.
First game jitters? Wasn't that last year?

I'm hoping for a dominant, injury free victory where lots of people get to play.

nobody with a brain doubts the brand equity of the Dallas franchise.
They haven’t won anything of significance in 27 years. People laugh at the Cowboys.
The UT kiss the ring routine makes people giggle.
Any more than the bell ringer?

I've got a number of Baylor friends and they aren't anything like you say. They are horribly embarrassed by what Baylor did.
Penn St. is a pretty shitty conference mate. After Sandusky, they hired Franklin, the guy who tried to cover up a rape at Vanderbilt (yeah, Vandy does it too). And any conference would take Penn St. As for cheating, future SEC mates A&M and Auburn join SMU among the cheatingest programs in NCAA history. On top of that, aggy is a cult.
Baylor's got a pretty bad history. Not sure Dave Bliss wasn't worse than Briles. After all, someone got murdered. But if you want pristine, you join the Ivy League. Wait, didn't they take bribes to admit rich people's kids as fake athletes? Kind of the opposite of normal where they bring in fake students to be athletes (see Oklahoma St. and Dexter Manley, North Carolina and Mary Willingham, Georgia and Jan Kemp).
So what's it got to do with conference realignment? Absolutely nothing. Its about dollars.
You need new friends. We're here to help.

Penn St fans may downplay Sandusky, but almost none deny it.
Baylor donors spent millions buying off victims on one hand and claim there were no victims on the other hand. Nearly 100% of their fanbase gaslights the victims, the scandals and the perps. Their fans universally say the lack of charges and convictions proves the accusations were false.
UT suspended Beard immediately, thoroughly vetted the story, then dismissed Chris Beard. I know ONE UT fan who believes that Beard was exonerated by the DA when no charges were pressed. Everyone else believes Beard should have broken up with his GF long before it came to blows.
There's a difference in how universities deal with their dirty laundry. UT did it right. Penn St and Baylor are still mocked for their cover up. UT is not.
Baylor fans wanted the BoR fired.

So did Art Briles rape your sister? Or you? You have an irrational hatred of Baylor. Maybe you should read up on Sandusky raping children for at least 13 years unconstrained at Penn St. Art Briles was only at Baylor for 7 years.
I guess you are totally incapable of reading. You made the stupid claim even for Surly that nobody in the Big 10 was as bad as Baylor. Well at least two schools were. I never said everyone was as bad as Baylor. Just that other schools had problems and two schools in the pristine Big 10, yes, were absolutely as bad as Baylor. And after Sandusky, Penn St. hired the guy who tried to cover up a rape by football players at Vanderbilt. PSU is totally tone deaf.
Baylor is not the reason we left the Big 12. There have been scandals in the SEC as well. Recruiting was the reason we moved.
Well, whatever the reason, I'm glad we are getting away from the motherfuckers.

Voted 9 wins. Will be difficult to win at Bama and unfortunately I expect a let down and/or referee shenanigans in the BU, TCU, or Iowa State games.
Regardless, we make the Big 12 Championship game and win it on our way out. Clutching of pearls, shrieks of pain, and the 5 stages of grief consume the Big 12 offices.
Not baylor. Fuck baylor.

We will get fucked. Bet on it. I'm sure the B52 conference officials do not want Texas and/or ou in the championship game. The best scenario is just beat the shit out of everyone. Can't throw a flag on every play.....can you?
