  1. If Sark couldn't maximize Quinn's potential, there aren't many other coaches who can. Maybe kiffin or Riley? Why would any school risk millions for someone who couldn't live up to his expectation at Texas surrounded by NFL talent? I don't think he will get more than what he got this year. He is not considered a top QB any more.
  2. Improving our offense. The weakness has been clear for weeks and it finally caught up to us when we faced a good team. You chose to bury your head in the sand and some of us would like to see the problem fixed.
  3. Does six games make you feel better?
  4. If a recruit has a problem with that, I am not sure I want him on campus.
  5. You are using Arkansas and Kentucky, two of the worst teams in the SEC, as examples of our domination in the second half? Not outscoring oir opponents in 6 games is not by design! If we could flip the switch and score in the second half if we needed to, we would have against UGA. A One dimensional game plan in the second half doesn't work against good competition, if they don't have to fear your pass game.
  6. Next, please get a kicker.
  7. Correct, 6. "Ran out the clock" is another way of saying we held on for dear life when we couldn't score points like we wanted to.
  8. Recruits are not blind. They can see when a player is struggling. If the coach doesn't bench him in favor of a talented younger player, they might think twice about coming here. Coach has benched or pushed out other non-performing playes, which should give hopes to recruits about the possibility of early playing time if they perform. QBs are given a longer leash but hopefully not at the expense of costing your team a trophy.
  9. We haven't outscored our opponents in the second half for seven straight games. Do you think it changes in the playoffs? Why have we been struggling on offense in the second half when we have an offensive guru calling the plays? Is it the QB and/or everyone else? One game is an anomaly but seven straight games is a trend. It's unlikely everyone has forgotten how to play in the second half all of a sudden. I am extremely happy with the season, but God damn, I will be pissed if we waste such a historically great defense because our offense with an elite playcaller and two 1.000 rated QBs can't get its shit together. What happens if PK leaves next year?
  10. Jimmyjazz was a big fan of Rodney Terry when we hired him and he defended him just like he is defending Quinn now. I commend your dedication to sticking up for mediocrity or perhaps you just like to be a contrarian on surly?
  11. Our offense has been a shitshow and outscored (one tie) by our opponents in the second half for six straight games and some of you are offended by the criticism of the QB. Bizarre! Edit: 6 straight, not 7, as I incorrectly mentioned at first.
  12. He admitted to getting paid when he was here, so ...
  13. Criticism comes with being a paid player. If he goes to the NFL, the fans are not going to be kind when he has a bad game. I don't see the need to be too emotionally vested in a player who gets paid millions to lead our team and likely will transfer somewhere else next year. If you have a personal connection to him, better to keep it private, I would think.
  14. I guess it wasn't too hard to overcome Down's play against Pedo state. Hope Satya is alright.
  15. Perhaps he will transfer to Nebraska. I heard all of their players get cars unlike Texas. Oh, I hope you have recovered from Casey Thompson playing elsewhere. It must have been gut wrenching to see a former horn QB start elsewhere.
  16. Since our RZ offense has been atrocious and we have seen what Arch can do in the RZ, there is no reason not to play him if Quinn continues to come up empty. Also, don't just play Arch for a snap or two. Let him get settled. It will not only help us this year but will also get him ready for tOSU next year.
  17. How many of those pages are occupied by Quinn defenders? Early on most people were on the Quinn boat, so it's not all criticism.
  18. "We don't want our QB's feelings hurt, so we shit on every other player on offense."
  19. Can't wait to see next year's offense with Arch leading it. If defense doesn't take a step back, we should be a fun team to watch.
  20. After his two starts, Arch's dad said on TV that he was happy to see his son getting some playing time ahead of next year's game at OSU. I don't think his camp is against him getting playing time - that's just absurd.
  21. Coach is trying to avoid a QB controversy so bad that he was willing to go down with the Quinn ship in the SEC championship game or he is being pressured by the Ewers camp and/or his NIL sponsors. UGA's kryptonite is a DT QB, which is exactly what we had sitting on the bench. Also, his moxie is undeniable. The coach should have acted before he faces outside pressure and criticism instead of reacting to it.
  22. Honest question, how are you affiliated with Quinn? I wish the posters who go overboard with their defense of mediocre players would just put out disclaimer so people are not wasting their time arguing with them.
  23. I think Wally Pryor nailed it back in 2022 ... almost. Quinn was bad then and now he is a legend or pussy, depending on who you ask.
  24. Dude was on pace to land a major deal when his current contract was up. For all his talent and on field performance, he hasn't been able to cash in yet. Hope this doesn't prevent him from doing so.
