  1. And let's be honest here, we're all a little jealous of him for that. I know I am.
  2. Oh, it's not personal. I would love to see him do better than Ole Miss, it's just the Florida thing is he doesn't like to recruit, and they will be banking on that. He's a portal hound, which is fine, but high school recruiting he doesn't seem to be a fan of. But...if he takes the.job, good for him. It just seems weird from a recruiting standpoint, nothing more. I love Freshwater, man. Dude is a legend to me. You're right, I forgot to add it - pride. He wants to win a NC, and I get it, and honestly, if he would recruit high school like he does the portal, the man may be unstoppable. His mind for offense is off the charts.
  3. I just don't personally see Freshwater as a fit at Florida, even if he's not leaving Ole Miss yet, anyway. It just seems like a weird fit, culturally speaking. He'll have big check writing dick heads breathing down his back and he'll have a magnifying glass on him at all times. Does he really want that? I get ALL HC's want to win a NC, but not all HC's want that kind of pressure, and they'll expect him to immediately turn things around in 2 years. More money, more problems.
  4. Well, Pittman has been fired and one of their best WR's, Jalen Brown broke his tibia and fibula yesterday. I'd say even if Arch isn't even mediocre we beat their asses. They're fucking God awful. If you switched Florida and Arkansas jerseys, you wouldn't even see a difference. Both are chimpanzee diarrhea.
  5. Jalen Brown with a broken tibia and fibula. Was pretty knarly to see it in real time. Made me wince seeing it happen. That's a pretty big loss for them. He was having a decent season until that injury.
  6. I like Ty Simpson. You can see how he's grown and commands the offense. He took the loss to FSU and came back and isn't rattled. He does have two really good WR's in Bernard and Williams, but their RB room is kinda meh without Richard Young. The Riley kid seems decent, Miller looks fat for some reason, but he still did as well as you could have hoped for, even if the stats don't reflect it. With Young being out and having to use Bernard situationally as a substituion did about as well as you it could have done. Simpson sees the field very well and doesn't get fazed too easily. He made some really good passes, and didn't make many mistakes. I think he'll get them to the CCG and playoffs, but they aren't lifting the trophy. If you don't have a good stable of RB's to pair with your WR's, you aren't lifting the trophy. Georgia's defense had some odd looks. I don't know if it was intentional, or if the Bama offense confused them. Their safeties and LBs looked lost a lot of the time, and they kept bringing the safeties way too close to the LBS, which gave Simpson and his WR's the space they needed. Let's not forget Robinson being a total dumbass and jumping on the pile to give Bama that extra 15 yards and a first. if UGA had a WR corps that can actually catch (not even asking for a Ryan Williams guy, but more than one guy not named Cobie Young), even with a mediocre Stockton, they could have won the game because Bama's defense is...not great, Bob. UGA's RB room is really good with Bowens and Frazier as a 1-2 punch, and that McCray kid, but their WR's are meh af. Defense is still good, but it's a shell of its former self. CJ Allen is a stud. I thought Justin Williams would actually be better, but he kind of sucks right now. Joseph-Ajonye was a good run stuffer. Quintavious (sp?) Johnson looks like a stud. Anyway, my point being is that their defense can be beat as long as your QB is in command and on the same page as your WR's, and your RBs can consistently pound the defense. It's why I'm glad we have a stable of really good RBs. We just need Arch to not panic. If Simpson, who I believe is the same age as Arch, or maybe one year older can stay relaxed and composed, both defenses can be beaten (assuming we get a match-up with Bama in the CCG).
  7. It's a shame in my league he only got me 26 pts. Should have been at least 30, imo.
  8. Bijan Robinson is Ricky Williams/Adrian Peterson special. From college to the pros. He's...beautiful.
  9. *women beaters, and also kidnappers who should never be allowed around any tools, especially screwdrivers.
  10. If nothing else, our denfese will win us this game. Also, let's calm down on the "aggy is good" talk. They beat a shitty Auburn by 6 points, and a downtrodden ND team that lost to Cristobal of all coaches. A literal moron of a HC. Freeman is a good coach, but they still need to figure out their QB situation and see if Carr is actually any good. They beat up Arkansas of all teams. Our D will drag their sacks and taint over their faces. I do think Arch and Co will roll this Florida team. They're fucking abysmal, and Lagway hates keeping the ball for his own team. He's like my ex-wife and money, they hate it and want to just give it away.
  11. No way Freshwater leaves Ole Miss. Not a chance with his daughter there. I'm sure UF has much deeper pockets, but he doesn't like to recruit, and he loves the portal. He's got it made at a school that is happy to get to 9 wins, and I believe he's only their second coach to ever get them to 10 wins. Twice. He has it made and has almost zero pressure.
  12. Oh yeah. That dude is higher than the Led Zeppelin. The licking of the gums and everything. That's wild to see lol
  13. It worked out so well for Oklahoma State, that I wish this would be true. But Jerrah doesn't really give a shit about his alma mater. If he did, they wouldn't be where they are. Imagine dying not having seen your alma mater in 60 years, and your own team win one in 30, and that's if he croaks tomorrow. It'll probably be more like 70 and 40. Oof.
  14. We should probably check to see if they're the same guy, tbh.
  15. But he'll always be kept warmed up with all of those Holiday Bowl/Alamo Bowl trophies.
  16. Yeah, it's Marcus Freeman. Duh.
  17. Which means Joe Paterno sold his own asshole and kids for two championships in the 80s. Looking back, that seems like a shitty deal, but he's a shitty piece of shit. Maybe because of the previous regines failures to protect children, this is just karma getting them warmed up to be Arkansas of the B1G in the long run.
  18. Arkansas fans know deep down in their chest cavity they aren't ever winning shit. Time isn't going backwards, and well, if they want championships they might want to fill out an application for NAIA.
  19. I wonder what the suicide rate is at Penn State? James Franklin has to have shot those numbers up. You can't just keep losing to upper tier teams in your own conference, as well as former PAC-12 teams and be able to sleep at night. Well now it makes me think of aggie, but they're built differently. Their hope is delusional, and the only way they're leaving this plane of existence is either by pretending students know how to build a bonfire, or Reville Jones says it's time.
  20. True. Joe Paterno sold his for two championships. Seems a bit cheap to me.
  21. Overall a good day and night of games.
