Tip: Never say "what??", say "Babe, say that again, wouldja? Can't hear ya through three doors."

EDIT: Alternatively, "Sweetheart, don't talk at me if you can't see my face."

Or just don't respond at all, eventually, she will come to you.

I've had progressives for years and have zero issues. They have blue light, so good for computer work.

I've had progressives for over 30 years and they are great. I don't have to tilt my head to focus at different distances and it doesn't feel like I am wearing bifocals at all.

I started keeping my insurance card on my sun visor, so I don't get shot by an antsy cop when I have to reach in the glovebox to get it.

Cops don't ask for insurance cards anymore. They can look it up on their system.

I can assure you they do. At least as recently as a week ago.

I'm going with last year's list minus Feinstein who was the one entry who did actually pass away. So tagging into her spot will be Sylvester Stallone.

    1. Sylvester Stallone (77)

    2. Donald Sutherland (88)

    3. Morgan Freeman (86)

    4. Michael Gambon (83) Oops, I guess I had two entries in 2023. Somehow missed that he passed. Okay, #4 is Madonna (65)

    5. Martin Sheen (83)

    6. Bill Parcells (82)

    7. Debbie Harry (78)

    8. Linda Ronstadt (77)

    9. Richard Dreyfuss (76)

    10. Ezra Miller (31)

It's kinda scary how many on your list are within a year or two of my age.

She does not move around like an older woman. I’d like to know what is greasing her joints so I can bottle it up, sell it and donate my profits to the Texas One NIL Fund.

I am the same age as her and I damn sure can't move like that.

Centerpoint trying to sell me gas line insurance. When did this new racket start? Da fuq do I need gas line insurance for?

I like how it was my 'last chance!' about 85 notices ago. Fuck them.

They just installed new gas lines all the way up to my house including a new meter and then sent me that letter about gas line insurance.

Don’t most of us play the same numbers over and over? I’ve used pretty much the same ones for a long while and I’ll add to them occasionally.

id be happy just to win a million

I used to play the same numbers all the time until I forgot to buy a ticket one night and realized that if they drew my numbers I would have to kill myself.

One thing that gets ignored in the vast hatred of religion is that a lot of religious "principles" are actually pretty good psychology.

One key to living "healthily" is to live in the moment, unburdened by the past and unafraid of the future. Because you can't change the former, and the latter is mostly beyond your control.

By failing to forgive, or conversely to repent/seek forgiveness, one permits oneself to be burdened by the past.  A past that just about everyone agrees is unchangeable.

    Done bun can't be undone.

If you have one foot in the past and one in the future, you're pissing all over the present.  And the present is all you've really got.

I think most peoples problem with religion is not religion itself but people trying to make everyone live according to their religion.

    Live and let live.

ucking reading glasses.  Where the fuck do they all sneak off to?  I just got back from walking the dogs and I swear my favorite pair was in my shirt pocket when I left the house.  I have a certain kind that I like that I have to order from amazon and seems like I'm ordering a couple of pairs every month.

It's hell getting old aint it?
