  1. Fuck yea! Im ready to watch Ford blow through the middle of that line and nail Milroe.

Also, pumped if they want to do Ewers a favor and simplify the defense. Good luck “out talenting” Worthy/AD/Sanders/JWitt.

The only thing to raise an eyebrow about would be if JBrooks got dinged again.

If he’s hurt that leaves the rotation with Baxter, Robinson, Blue. Doesn’t matter for Rice but is that an issue moving forward? I haven’t heard any mention of Red or Wisner.

Also regarding taking kids. I’ve been eyeing Wyoming given the kick off time. Definitely want to buy before the Alabama game.

The point is, players of a certain talent immediately transcend above other, more experienced players. That’s the level of talent we should always hope to bring in, and unlike Tom Herman’s dumb ass, get them on the field immediately.

I’ve loved me some Brooks, what little we’ve seen, but here’s a reminder about expectations of the program, his offer list:

I whole heartily agree that the best should play/start. I just hope 3 years in the program is actually building players. If this Ced B is like the last Ced B then I’ll eat my crow with a smile.

We’re all entitled to our opinions, but this one is dumb as fuck. The best player starts, period. Hypothetically, Baxter could be good enough to be this year’s heisman winner, but you’d rather Brooks start because of your expectations or personal feelings about the player?

Hey man my profile pic is literally Baxters drawing. No one here would be happier with his success. I have higher expectations of the program. The only person suggesting Baxter start is Ketch and his sources. I don’t feel bad about my opinion.

Sark mentioning Baxter in pass blocking is a very good sign, that he will play a lot. Brooks as never made it through a season and that is with limited playing time. Baxter pushing him is very good for Texas

Baxter earning PT is not a bad thing to be sure.
For the sake of developing guys in the program I’d hope 1 of the 3 upperclassmen would be better.

    Some notes just in:

Defense definitely had a good day. They created a couple of fumbles and made an INT.

Offense improved as scrimmage wore on. Ced Baxter continues to impress.

    More as we get it!

    Any boo-boos?

One important note: The Coolidge Football Performance Center has not been fully completed. It still needs some cosmetic polishing and air conditioning. A&M installed various fans in the facility, which kept the indoor temperature from being unbearable.”.

    A/C is good.

Practicing for their first trip to DKR 🫠
