Lol. Old buddy of mine makes a living as a real estate agent for people buying and selling ranches. Posted this pic today from a property he was visiting with a buyer.

Easily the most dangerous hunting stand I've ever seen. Said it's about 40 feet of ladder to climb with those tiny little pegs. Enter through the floor, and then there's just a swivel seat up there.

    Widow maker.  Jeez.

This high-toned nasally, slack-jawed, twitchy foot, jorts-wearing, loud-talking dipshit is about to put me over the edge.  Plus he’s arguing with his fat sister that has her pie hole stuffed full of food and she’s jawing back at him sounding like she’s got a tube sock stuffed in her mouth.

So let's talk yotes.  We have a large blind that backs up to a tree line with an open field of about 80 acres.  We hear coyotes nearby all the time and have tried a Fox Pro and a mouth caller.  Neither with any luck.

Is the key leaving the caller going until you get something on the radar or intermittently?

Dogs play the wind.  Dogs are inconsistent.  Are you using the wounded rabbit cry or the coyote challenge call?

I agree that they are not easy.   My best luck is let it run for 5-10 minutes then go quiet or reduce volume for that period.   Fire it up again.

Hunting out of a blind reduces your success IMO. Dogs can pick up the human smell while you’re in it or the smell you leave behind.

Electronic and reed calls seem to work much better on any gato montes in the area.   Bobcats seem to have a need to investigate.   Curiosity killed the cat is not a platitude.
