1 1/2 games back now. Lost 8 of last 10. What a disastrous second half of the season
2 full games behind the Spurs now with 4 games remaining. They all but officially out. I think LeBron needs to play in 2 more games to qualify for the scoring title. He will probably cherry pick and sit out the other 2 going all out to ensure he bests Embiiid. Then he will let us know how that cements his position as GOAT.
@Suns
@Warriors
vs Thunder
@ Nuggets.

Dallas is beating all the top teams in either conference at home or on the road. And Luka has definitely entered the MVP chat, as the only player in the league averaging 28 8 8 or better

You’re an idiot as you always are. You said it way too early at the time you said it. I would’ve agreed had you said “a 4 seed is likely”. But you said something stupid as you always do.

All good points. I just don't think Milwaukee is in some tier above everyone yet. I mean... you watched the game tonight, right? That was a pretty janky OT win and they put out a ton of tape on the "do everything to hold KD under 30" gameplan. BKN needs to make the playoffs before doing anything else but they definitely had a different gear of intensity once the playoffs started last season. I personally think they haven't spent enough time together to make a Finals run this season - also without HCA the entire way - but they'll still be dangerous. Especially if they can avoid MIL in the first round and win a ramp up series against MIA or Philly.
If MIL and NJ end up facing each other in the first round, I'm not putting my money on MIL. I agree NJ probably deserved to win tonight's game. I have a feeling playoff KD+KI are going to a very fucking tough out for any team in the East.

Absolutely. Hunter is a problem for Joe, no question. But, there's little or no evidence that Joe has profited from Hunter's shenanigans or that the shenanigans are anything more than Hunter's unilateral efforts to play off the family name.

Man, I know we’re good but good grief that Lakers team is awful. I knew they were cratering but they have zero talent after two hurt superstars. Was awesome but hard to watch at the same time.
Sorry you were denied the pleasure of watching the King play

This is just fucking embarrassing. Dude should be fired and blackballed from the league for attaching his name to this garbage.
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- If it were up to Los Angeles Lakers coach Frank Vogel, LeBron James would be adding a fifth MVP award to his career accomplishments after this season.
"He is as deserving for MVP consideration as anybody in the league," Vogel said after practice Friday. "I know how the voting goes -- the team with the best record or top couple of records usually gets most of those considerations, so the win-loss record definitely would probably hurt him.
"But you can't tell me that anybody has played a better season than LeBron James has this year."
Fired and blackballed for hyping/promoting his player?

Dirty fucking play by the Mavs, who got drubbed by Minny tonight.
Somebody didn't want the actual game. If anyone was playing dirty is was Beverly.

Thanks. I knew about half of all that. The scat half.
And BL used the tree fiddly reference in court also. The judge was not amused

proud of the effort but the number of fouls versus the number for Purdue was terrible and the number of free throws was insane. BIG10 did not deserve 9 team in the dance and I feel refs were trying help the conference out some. it could be worse however frogs got screwed, did not realize take downs were legal in last two mins.
Fuck the frogs

I guess I could go and check it out myself, But if I am heading downtown it's for music or food and not the West Mall. But I am just curious if that is still the case? One of the things I always like about UT was that every point of view (no matter how crazy or stupid) was allowed, though not necessarily embraced. I stepped on campus in '79, and with so many smaller organized groups today than then I wondered about the dynamics of the West Mall.
This is a topic I have been thinking about a while, because more and more often speakers are shouted down, or organized against to the point where they are "uninvited." One of the very best classes I took at UT was a logic class. The speakers were varied, all were very convinced their point of view was correct, and usually their positions were eloquently presented. The spectrum went from Madeline Murray O'Hair to some General whose name I cannot recall. Listening, ESPECIALLY to a point of view I disagreed with, made me think!
It was very interesting to break down the varying arguments and understand where their point of view differed or was flawed, usually based on the basic premises of the argument, and not all the effervescent details of deep thought they presented during their presentations. I still have no problem in engaging in serious (sometimes heated) debate. Usually I end up shutting the arguments down with either a hand shake or a head shake (if you don't know facts).
I was mainly just curious about whether the West Mall is still a place where you can voice your opinion freely, even if I personally think it's stupid as shit?

Batshit or not, this dumbass threw a match on gasoline soaked stack of fallen logs of a bonfire.
He needs to serve his time. Even in a crazy house but he needs to have a consequence for his decision.
Even crazy should be allowed to be locked up just like the rest of us.
Not so sure hes crazy just a narcissistic assholeThis. His plan could have resulted in an innocent person or persons being arrested and convicted of a hate crime. Seems to me he should be charged with a hate crime. 150 days is getting off easy. He needs to do his time and quit being such a little bitch
