I'd love to be a main supplier for one of the aggy stores. Their current suppliers must laugh all the way to the bank because they print up shirt, caps, drinking cups, etc. for anything and everything they consider commemorative like our baseball game against them. Or when they "BTHO" Alabama or the 74-72 against LSU a few years ago.
Aggy "commemorative" chotchke supplier has gotta be up there with Chick-Fil-A franchisee as business models that are just licenses to print money. They gotta keep that kind of money machine hook up "in the Aggy network" right? right???

I like some of Bard's alternate facts....seems quite convinced that last year was much better than it actually was down in San Marcos
Prompt: Write a blog post about Texas State Football spring practice 2023
Texas State Football Spring Practice 2023
Texas State football is back in action for spring practice 2023. The Bobcats will hold 15 practices over five weeks as they prepare for the upcoming season.
Head coach G.J. Kinne is entering his first season at the helm of the Bobcats. Kinne is a former quarterback who has coached at several schools, including Tulsa, Houston, and Incarnate Word.
Texas State is coming off a 7-5 season in 2022. The Bobcats lost to Louisiana in the Sun Belt Championship Game.
Kinne has a lot of work to do in spring practice to get the Bobcats ready for the upcoming season. But he is excited about the potential of the team.
"I'm really excited about the group of guys we have," Kinne said. "We have a lot of talent and a lot of potential. We just need to put it all together."
The Bobcats will open spring practice on March 23. The spring game will be held on April 22.
Here are some of the key players to watch in spring practice:
- Quarterback Brady McBride: McBride is the likely starter at quarterback for the Bobcats. He is a redshirt sophomore who played in six games last season.
- Running back Jahmir Smith: Smith is the Bobcats' leading returning rusher. He rushed for 900 yards and five touchdowns last season.
- Wide receiver Tre'Shaun Harrison: Harrison is the Bobcats' leading returning receiver. He caught 50 passes for 700 yards and four touchdowns last season.
- Defensive end Chris Autman-Bell: Autman-Bell is the Bobcats' leading returning pass rusher. He had 5.5 sacks last season.
- Linebacker Josiah Monroe: Monroe is the Bobcats' leading returning tackler. He had 100 tackles last season.
The Bobcats have a lot of talent and a lot of potential. If they can put it all together, they could have a big season in 2023.

Houston’s light rail is pretty sweet in the areas it services.
I just wish that fat fuck John Culberson and the NIMBY Karens in Afton Oaks hadn't killed the University rail line in Houston or else id be sitting pretty on a transit line right now riding the rails everywhere..all the H-town sports ball games could have been just a rail ride and a short walk away.

I always rooted for TTech against the aggies. That was good entertainment, especially in the Pirate years.
Leach's "Sometimes a Pirate can beat a Solider" an all time post game quote and gigantic middle finger to Aggy, loved it. Always rooted for Leach, but Tech gets all the bad things that they deserve for doing him dirty and running him out of town for CJK5H and his bitch ass kid.

Sounds a lot like aggy and the SEC...
Only problem for Utah is "they ain't even PAC12" just doesn't quite sound as good as "they ain't even SEC"

That's what you get Houston for letting your team go. It's H-town's fault they're gone. Not Adams.
except it’s 100% Bud Adams fault, may his soul continue to rot in hell. And his daughter doing the Oilers uniform thing when they play the Texans just to poke a stick in a Houston’s eye earns her cunt ass a spot right next to Bud.

Oh, noes! He's been banished!
Some would say being banished from Lubbock is probably the best thing that can happen to a man…

Wonder how fast Tceh hits the sovereign immunity button when it comes to settling up with Adams after they fire him?

I think Texas Tech has a chance to be the best program in the Big 12 going forward. Through my business, I do a lot of work in the Midland Basin. Tech has a lot of newly minted 9 and 10 figure types that care a lot about football. No just Sellers and Campbell. I was pretty shocked when I saw the wealth in the Tech alumni base.
I realize Lubbock makes it difficult to recruit. But they have a shitload of money from donors who care.
Would have been a lot easier if Tech hadn't stiffed Leach and been under a pirate curse ever since...but yeah lots of new Tceh money will prob help a bit

I think what's never fully translated is that at the end of the day, our anger was less about schools like Texas and OU wanting to partner with schools like Bama, Georgia, and LSU and more about how schools like Mississippi State and Purdue get to keep riding the gravy train despite not doing a damn thing more than the rest of us.
Sorry bruh, life/business/conference realignment ain't fair, moose out front should have told ya...

Department of Redundancy Department talk not going away
Gotta admit the man has a fascinating career arc tho, tutelage under the evilest of Bills in New England, went and pulled Pedo State out of the gutter, put the Texans into the gutter and lit them on fire, back to school at the Nick Saban school for coaches who don't coach very well, and now full circle back to New England...and that doesn't even cover him working at Brown, Georgia Tech, Maryland, and Duke all before his first stint with the Pats -
While I tend to agree that theres not another program in the new look Big 12 that I can see rising to the kind of dominance that OU did in football, or Texas did in money and clout, can see a scenario where the biggest fanbases left in the remaining 8 (Tech and OKST most likely) do grow weary of carrying the weight. Someone has to pull the conference gravy train and it ain't gonna be UH, WVU, TCU, UCF or Baylor, those are all gravy carriages along for the ride.

Based off how conference realignment has been going this time around, I expect this statement is the thing that comes out a few days before the 4 corners schools stat jumping ship and is gonna age even worse than it looks right now.
